Mini haul the last couple days with Netflix Nemesis and a couple more Megatrons. Can't ever have enough of the Megs!
I like how Nemesis is a blend of Siege/Earthrise/POTP. Fixed the issue of his weapons storing on his truck mode, although can't connect the trailer like this obviously, but still looks cool.

Sometimes it really pays to hit Walmart at 7am on my way home from work. Also, WTF!? He didn't even make it into the toy aisle!

Date on the price tag is 2/8/21, but I doubt the two I saw have been sitting in clearance that long. I haven't opened the one I bought at Target so maybe I'll take that one back.

Also picked up Jazz and Blurr at the normal Walmart price of $18-something, kinda surprised Kup sold out.

Yeah they are great. Good molds, awesome colors. My only complaint is that they can't combine. I had held out hope for years that a 3P company would make a kit that allowed them all to connect to Motormaster to make Menasor and which would become Motormaster's trailer in truck mode.

Yeah that was a convention exclusive and it fit me 10 years ago, but I'm a little bigger now. I didn't say anything on purpose, I wanted it to be a surprise.

Yeah, well, sadly the @#$%ing third party companies largely only have eyes for CHUG, MP, and the movies (and don't even always do a good job on that). Case in point: Fillers for the titchy little hollows in Generations figures' thighs? Dime a dozen! Out within weeks! Fillers for the much more noticeable hollows in Cybertron Optimus' leg cannons? 16 years and we're still waiting.

Hooray! eBay haul came in today!

Gigatron (well, RID Megatron but who's counting?) is as amazing as I remember. He has a bit of photodegradation on him, but it's had the unexpected side effect of giving him a sort of sparkly bronze marbling effect, and considering I got him for £50 in box, I ain't complaining.
Injector is great too. I LOVE this fishy stingy boy. Utterly ludicrous but a lot of fun.
Scorponok (or Scorpia as I'm repurposing her) is OK. She looks good in scorpion mode, and whilst he robot mode is laughable it's also easy to ignore. Unfortunately I had to do some surgery on one of her claws as a gear fell out, but she seems to mostly be back in working order now. And for £10 it doesn't matter.

So my brother has a theory. He works at Walmart (a different local one from the one I got Rodimus at) and said the warehouses are finally starting to clean out the stuff that's been backed up since the start of the pandemic. The spot where I found Rodimus near the Lawn and Garden section is where it's all going, most of it straight to clearance. He thinks Studio Series 86 probably got mixed in with some Studio Series Voyagers that were supposed to be on clearance. Neither of the Walmarts near me have Voyagers of any kind in stock so I can't price check them, but I was at another Walmart today and it was the same thing, lots of toys near the L&G section, half of it on clearance (no Transformers this time). And this isn't the normal clearance section, that's on the other side of the toy section and pretty empty right now.

So it might be worth a trip over to the L&G section and taking a look around, could be some good stuff hiding there!

My local hobby store had new Earthrise stuff. They had Airwave, Fasttrack, Allicon (quintesson crocodile), Smokescreen.

But i found a example of a shortpacked figure... Earthrise Arcee and i bought her. She is so impressive for a deluxe figure
But i'm disappointed that she doesn't gave two guns and that her pistol isn't black or pure white. (Not this transparent grey) I'd hate losing that thing because of the obscure color.

Also it clearly looks like it was based on the russian MP-433 Grach pistol with a mounting peg on it.

ER/KD Arcee is a nice figure. But the fact that she's not a shellformer but an actual PRETENDER (with a crumpable outer shell) is hilarious.

I bought this upgrade kit for her and I can't wait to have that pretender fact on full display.

Her body is fine the way she is. I see no reason to mod her design or store the car bits separately to make her basically a model like the RED figures.
