I also got Arcee today! Not counting Silverstreak, she was the only Legacy figure present when I got to my local-ish Target, so I dunno if they've gotten anything else other than Deluxes yet. Very happy with her so far, I'll probably put my more in-depth thoughts on her in the Legacy thread tomorrow.

Because I recently got Universe Acid Storm for cheap, I put him along Shitstorm and Sandstorm.
So I just had to get the one to complete my Netflix Hotlink and G2 Ramjet.

Look who showed up today!
This little dude is fantastic. Only real complaint is his gun is a bit weird, and as he has 5mm fists that doesn't greatly bother me. Not sure I'll bother with the others but I'm glad I have him.

Went searching this morning hoping some Legacy came in and of course it didn't. I did find however, Studio Series Slag randomly at Walmart! I had missed out on him last year, so I happily snagged him today.

Fresh arrival from Mandarake, Toy R Us Japan exclusive Sonic Convoy box set with Coby's Rumble! Everything is still securely tied in and all of the tape is intact. It's an open boxed item (as everything on Manda is), but seeing as how the box wasn't taped shut to begin with that's not a big deal. The one thing that appears to have actually been opened is the bag the instructions come in as the flap wasn't folded down and the instructions for Coby's Rumble wasn't inside it (they were outside it). These usually go for $500+, the only one that sold on eBay was listed at $900 but sold at best offer. It came to $260 plus shipping, which wasn't cheap, but I also added a Titans Return Rumble (which I really needed) which was only $10 and helped offset the shipping a tiny bit (he alone had a shipping estimate of $20). Total, after PayPal's annoying conversion rate, was $375 which was still a fantastic price for a set I've wanted for a long time. I don't have Cybertron Wing Saber or Movie Wingblade, but now I wonder if I should hunt those down, too. Also need a blue Rumble, already have yellow and red (and a dark red custom from Sureshot, I think that was him).
Only downside is the box smells a bit musty, it had probably been in storage for a while before the previous owner sold it.

Emerje, time to open this puppy and have a blast! If you have never experienced these molds before, it would be a waste to keep them in packaging.
This was sure an expensive set, but consider yourself lucky to be in the USA when ordering from Mandarake. You guys are allowed to use EMS. So your shipping cost is about 1/4 of what Canadians (and others) have to pay by being stuck with the no-deals-sureshot-customs DHL. To many Mandarake "deals" are completely ruined for me because of that.

I hear you there. $100 to ship EMS still kept the total lower than the normal going price for the set, but DHL would have been over $200 to ship!

Just imagine that with that extra shipping cost, add another 100$ in custom fees guaranteed.
Before the obligatory DHL, I never, ever paid customs when ordering from Mandarake. Now, I must REALLY want the thing before ordering from Manda. Like my G1 Victory Saber set who cost over 300$ in taxes and shipping alone.

Been getting a lot of grail and favorite figures ever recently. I got Firetrap and Lockdown from ebay and surprisingly found Highbrow brand new on Big Bad Toy Store! It was a lot more that retail but cheaper than everywhere else.
Loving this era of figures and designs. With the newest Studio Series rumors having non movie characters with movie designs coming, hopefully we can see new versions of some of these guys.

Easter was good for me too. I managed to find the Legacy wave 1 deluxe at Target and took advantage of the spend 100 save 25 deal. I already had Skids and Arcee from Amazon and will play the return game.

Went to the Walmart near the Maine Mall Saturday, it's about 65 miles south of me so it isn't somewhere I go to more than a few times a year. Between dedicated toy stores, comic shops, Target and Walmart, Walmart was the only place that had Legacy figures, and it was just Core class, first time finding them. Picked up Iguanus and Skywarp, already have Hot Rod from Kingdom (had to get it on Amazon, haven't seen the Kingdom version in stores). We're at the end of April and Legacy is barely in stores, this is taking a lot longer to reach saturation than I thought it would. So far I've seen 1 of each wave 1 Deluxe and two Bulkheads at one of two Targets and one of each wave 1 Core at one of three Walmarts. It's still fairly early, but I worry about wave 2 showing up before wave 1 gets to become abundant.
OK, that small tangent aside, that Walmart also put Kingdom Deluxes on clearance for $13, picked up a second Wingfinger (WHERE'S THE REPAINT, HASBRO!!).

Yeah some of those Decepticons were really unique in design and transformation. I'm glad to have them in my collection (and they are worth a hefty sum to boot).
