Retro Hot Rod arrived yesterday! I was able to order him on Pulse after he inexplicably came back in stock last week. I was able to get Bomb-burst that way as well. I haven't opened either yet though, as I've still been making my way through the glut of figures I got from the warehouse sale last month! With these guys secured, I am ahead of schedule for ticking off my yearly wish list, so I shouldn't have to worry about buying any more figures until Evolution wave two starts showing up here.

Emphasis on have to. I probably still will.

Had really good luck at Target this morning. Got LE Twincast and Core Grimlock, plus I had a Circle discount for $10 off a $30 purchase plus my usual 5% off so both came to only $35 total. ;)^

Yeah, it's especially nice that Target still has Core figures under $10. This was my first time seeing Grimlock in stores, but I've seen Nemesis Prime and Thundercracker a bunch of times (bought mine a month ago there) and Bomb-Burst for the first time last week (already have the Kingdom one) so I guess this is the third time they've restocked (it was a full wave 5 case on the pegs this morning).

To date, I have found Twincast and Metalhawk individually by themselves, but no other wave 2 2023 figures. Skyquake and Prowl were Amazon order because I really wanted those 2

A few orders came in almost at the same time.

First, MPP-12N, Beemesis Prime.
I never had the mold before and it was at a reasonable price on Amazon.jp.

Second, Bishoujo Baroness, blue version because the normal black was sold out ages ago. Thanks to the Age 3 And Up rewards points, I could get her at 50% off! She's a beauty.

And finally, my second Guardian Robot!

Got my Wal-Mart retro Hound today as well. Fun figure, but it's my first version of this mold, and I was not expecting him to be so...tiny. He's shorter than G1 Jazz, thought he would be the same height.

The fact that there was no internet and the only way to communicate was via phone or writing letters made any and all fandoms quite obscure and very "underground".

I bet my left and right nut that if the internet was a thing back in the early 1980's fandoms would have been as whiny and "toxic" as it is today. It's part of the nerd package! :lol:

Not at all! I have been building my G2 collection since I properly discovered it following Thew's Autoroller review. I have been getting them at a nice rate, and i now only need 8 more to complete the US-released G2 original molds (I am not buying G1 repaints). I still need hero Optimus, Laser Prime, big G2 megatron, Volt, Electro (gonna get the botcon one to avoid GPS), Air raid, Jetfire, and Road Rocket. I can't wait to show off my G2 shelf with all the guys I have already. Plus, I should get Deluge today
