Most figures have 5mm peg holes, going back all the way to G1. Only some G1 figures have the "standard" size, and Onslaught is one of them.

My U Onslaught is one of the early ones without the fix but it's still a great figure. I can't wait for my G1 Onslaught gun to arrive!

Apparently mine isn't the fixed sound one, as I just tested it and the sound clip is pretty short. Was pretty much looking for a good paint application one, totally forgot about the fixed sound #-o

I bought my U Onslaught loose and complete, just used for display too so it's nearly brand new. Luckily it has great paint apps. I wasn't disappointed by its messed up siren sound effect as I don't usually care for that gimmick. I think it's hilarious. It's like Onslaught gives half a siren ring and then goes "Aw, slag it, I'm going to destroy something."

Yup yup.

I've been looking around for some suitable 5mm peg weapons for my TF collection.

Nice surprise today. Aside from the completely unsurprising RotF Swerve and Deluxe Dead End which I knew were in the box, I also got the TRU Reissue Insecticons which I'd completely forgotten were part of the same order. I thought I'd decided to leave them until next month :)

True, it's going up my display shelves and not for playing, so the sound effects is pretty much not going to be missed. I sure would've liked this Onslaught to be able to combine to form Bruticus though.

Here's my haul from the past week (except for Shockwave, I got him 3 weeks ago). Special thanks to Convotron for inspiring me to get Universe Devastator (truly awesome figure).

Sweet haul, WD!

Constructicon Devastator looks so awesome. I can't wait for mine to arrive. :D I'm glad you enjoy it!

Shockwave is such a cool figure. Who cares if he's not G1 accurate? It's purple, it has a laser gun hand, it's Shockwave!

RiD Megatron looks neat-o. Tripredacus looks pretty cool too. A Predacon combiner? Such a neat concept!

Nice haul, RID Megatron imo is a lot better than RID Galvatron both colorwise and before they gave RID Galvatron a lot of werid and useless alt modes.

Ouch. But nobody ever said collecting was cheap. I've never even seen a Production-Type for sale, so I had no idea what I should expect to pay.

Is his key turquoise like the blades?

Exactly. The few that I've seen sell went for between $400-$600 though.

And no, the key is orange.

Got a trio of Hero's WST Seeker KOs, Sunstorm, Ramyet and Dirge. The remoulded wings and weapons on the coneheads (leaving the cones down when it's this mould) are really nice and they fit together a lot more snugly than my clear KO Thundercracker and Skywarp.
