I don't deliberately double down on duplicate designs, but Doubledealer's deco is decadently delightful. He will definitely be doing dirty deeds in my Decepticon display.

In haul news, I got that KO over-sized 'Abominus', and some great trades from fellow board members. Including:

Found a strange UFO at a thrift store last night. It's not a transformers. It's some kind of lunchbox-like spaceship that convert into a base of sort. I will use it as part of my Cyberverse War display. I think it's a 2$ well spendt.

Anyone know what it is and from what toyline it came from?

That is the Maximal Mobile Base from Beast Wars II. $2 for THAT is a good find!

I don't think "Takara" is spelled "B-L-U-E B-O-X".

Still, if it resemble that thing, that's kinda awesome. I'll need to put in fresh batteries to check what kind of sounds it make.

That's because it was made by Blue-Box toys, not Takara.

It actually is the Maximal Mobile Base as shown in the first Beast Wars II catalog. TakaraTomy probably licensed it from or outsourced it to Bluebox for use in their own line, which explains why it looks nothing like the Yukikaze, the Maximal ship of the series. If memory serves me correctly, it's supposed to be used with the decoy-like game pieces from the same line.

I can't seem to find a price listing for it though. So for now the listed price for a Beast Wars II Maximal Mobile Base that's missing it's accessories is $2!

Balls are actually pretty common ( :lol:

), but I didn't know that thing even existed. Your Cyberverse plan sounds great. How do deluxes scale up? It looks huge. Once you get some batteries in there, come back and give us a tour of it's play features.

Nice! Hope you have as much fun with them as I have. I'm for ever swapping the limbs between OP and SB and changing them for arm to leg and back. While overall I do prefer the 3P combiners for my Classics collection, they don't come close to these for play value!

i found them at TRU in the west, and no arcee/chromia/brainstorm. nor have i seen them yet anywhere else. but i hold out hope for walmart still.

well it took some doing, but i finally righted the wrong of selling my lio convoys a few years ago. midway last year i got the regular and flash at great prices, and it took some patience but ive completed the trio with the black!

also, RID BB and legends prime! BB is the perfect mix of simplicity and functionality. the car mode is has the sharp edges i love, and the bots aesthetics are nice, and hes poseable enough to enjoy playing around with. and prime.. is a legends class figure. neat lil dude, but i wish he had knee joints.
