New bookshelves are always welcome. I actually got some new shelves at a yard sale a month or so ago, but I have no idea where to put them

Saw that scourge in store and I'll pass. I already have the Titanium and the Generations. I find it WAY too blue for my tastes, without anything to break that blue. Blurr is a blue dude that I want but at least the colors are broken up with different shades and details.

Oh well too broke after my last haul.

Got Universe Silverstreak off of Ebay recently, because as of late I've kind of been liking Bluestreak. I don't know why I've been liking him; he's not a particularly favourite character of mine, he's not really a big player in any fiction (he got to be a main character in like one issue of MTMTE but that's it really), but... I dunno. I've just been liking him recently. So I got him, I love him, and here he is in a gun-cocking/don't-look-at-my-terrible-neck pose.

He completes my ragtag group of Autobots beautifully.

Kurona, I think that's just swell. You know why you like him? 'Cause he's AWESOME. :lol:

A lot of old nostalgia, head canon, and memories crammed in that character for me, as he and Mirage were the very first TFs my brother and I got back in '84. Despite a few goofy things with that Classics mold, he's a great toy and wears it better than Prowl, IMO.

Thank you ^^ I needed some place for those miscellaneous bots to go since I decided to relegate my collection purchases to MTMTE and some combiners. Alpha Bravo was a leftover from when I wanted all the Aerialbots and Optimus, Roadbuster and Chromia were leftovers from when I wanted a shelf of every G1 year - which I've since felt is a mistake due to the sheer money involved and the fact that I'm not getting the toys because I enjoy them like CW Rook or even because they're a character or from a group I enjoy like Generations Nightbeat; but just to fill an arbitrary slot. Becomes a bit depressing when that's how you do toy collecting and I've found much more enjoyment in just collecting MTMTE and whatever toys I think look cool~
But that still leaves these leftovers with nowhere to go... so I decided to shanghai 'em all into a squad and somehow figured Universe Bluestreak would be the best finishing touch. Hey, I wasn't wrong

I definitely agree about the mold. I really do like it after fiddling around with it; the only two annoying things I've found are that he clearly has swivels on his feet for ankle tilting but he can't do it because the rest of the leg gets in the way; and my biggest grievance with the mold, the neck platform sits his head too high. Though it's much easier to get around on Bluestreak than Prowl due to said neck platform being the same colour as the hood chest so it actually blends in and you can kinda create the mental illusion that it's not there unlike Prowl's.

I'm also pleasantly surprised by the wing-door articulation. That's one of my favourite extra points of articulation to get on a winged figure; adored it on Gen. Armada Starscream and I love it here

As I was typing that last post, the door bell rang, and look who it was!

32 years later and I have finally completed the Datsun Bros in G1 form thanks to the oh so kind and generous Ironhidensh. He was liquidating some of his collection, so I jumped on the chance. Densh said in a PM he loves a happy customer. Well color me pleased as punch!

I've been filling out the TR ranks lately. Picked up Chromedome the other day and Skullsmasher before that.

I just nabbed my second TR beastie-bot today. Some loud yeller weirdo wolfie guy.

Looks like TR is hitting mass retail in my area. I'll crack this bad bot open in a few and see what I think.

Well, car boot sale today wasn't great but here we go anyways:

G1 Triggerhappy. Discolored plastic, couple broken bits but eh, he's still nice i guess.
Prime Cyberverse Smokescreen (the blue/yellow one that usually comes with some big vehicle thing). Nice lil toy I can take to rehearsals to play with during the long gaps between my scenes.

(also included an old TMNT skateboard, Bruce Wayne in some pre-Batman training gear and two extreme ghostbusters)

Still, I got this cool RoboCop t-shirt new for £5 from a woman who was selling lots of stuff she got from lootcrates (I'm still not sure what they are but I love this shirt) so yay!

Got package from fellow Seibertronian -Kanrabat- today!

Included are head and water gun for the Beast Wars Megatron I obtained at car boot sale a few weeks ago and also RotF Deluxe Dead End, one of my fave Decepticon figures I used to have ages ago and now have again and am very happy (also I have a junker Sideways somewhere so I could swap the heads if I ever choose to but it's fine as is). These were a very fair price, well packaged and I would happily purchase from -Kanrabat- again. Thanks dude!
