Firstly, that Boosticus set is gonna be a pain in the ass to install, but I think I can manage. Plus the black seems to work for Wreckers, so hopefully it works out color wise.

It is very much worth it.![]()
I got one at the beginning of the year and was extremely happy once he came together.
My only regret is the true Ruination upgrade kit never came out, so you will have to have him in Bruticus limb config for it to work versus the depicted limb config.
Overall, a great esoteric combiner to put in with your others that will likely never get homaged again, so enjoy him now while in hand.

Oh I really believe it will be worth it. Ruination can finally stand with my other Combiners. And I don't mind him being in Bruticus configuration seeing as how I never got FoC Bruticus, so he will remain unique.
Looking forward to the weekend to armor up!

Sounds awesome.
Here are some Shapeways upgrades, by the associated designer i believe, to make him look closer to the original upgrade design.

I have not got them myself but plan to down the line once i can allocate some funds.
Hopefully, this will give you some options to work with, if the spark hits ya.

With the exception of TFS and BBTS the pre-orders aren't up yet?
This probably isn't the right place to start this convo, so if you know where we can move it or where I can get the info I want point me there. Anyway, whats up with those 10th anny movie figs anyway? Just redecos? Maybe super sweet redecos? I was jazzed for the SS until I saw it was the voyager figure (I was hoping for the leader/mp/whatever).

Eyyy, you're almost done with Combiner Wars! Only Quickslinger and Lynxmaster to go.
'Only', she says, staring at Quickslinger's lowest price on Amazon being £153
Haha, thanks I'm a big derp and missed that. I'll check that other thread out to see what is what.william-james88 wrote:I aswered about the preorder in a previous post: transformers-toy-haul-thread-t13s14850.php#p1832799
Also, we can talk all about them cool movie figures here: takara-tomy-transformers-10th-anniversary-movie-reissues-p1832827.php#p1832827
2 of those molds/retools were never released in the west so they are a top priority for me, when looking at how affordable they are here.

Amazon can be crazy sometimes. Ebay is crazy but much less crazy: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Transformers-Co ... SwmfhX69lG

He's a 3P repaint of an IDW Perceptor

Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.

Interesting that you are getting the comics over there. You got those from Amazon UK, right?
Wonder if those were some US stock?
Ya. I actually helped a couple Brits and Euros get some wave 2 guys.Kurona wrote:Cobotron wrote:Nice Sjeng!

Wave 2 was never really released in the UK so that would explain things.
Honestly I'm getting tempted to get Offroad myself just to go with Alpha Bravo.

All the answers you desire are belowKurona wrote:Well my first impressions are:-
-Why would you want a Deluxe Soundwave? Especially when it costs so much and turns into a microscope
-If you really wanted an expensive Deluxe G1-styled Soundwave you could just go Music Label which turns into a cassette player and plays music
But upon further thought...
... actually no I kinda can't see the appeal. I'm not saying you're wrong for wanting it but I'm very curious why it appeals to you beyond a Soundwave collection
shajaki wrote:I've agonized over this subject for a while.
I wouldn't say ML Soundwave is too short, but he does severely lack details. However Reprolabels does some amazing work though, which I think makes him a great candidate for any C/G display.
Another option is Cybertron/Galaxy Force Soundwave. An amazing figure, but too tall and doesn't quite fit the aesthetic.
FOC Soundwave's, particularly the Takara Deluxe, are outstanding. But the Cybertronian alt mode, again, doesn't fit my aesthetic desires.
Upcoming TR Soundwave, too big. And the bulk of the mold works for Blaster in my opinion, but not Soundwave.
What my plan is, is KFC Mugan Vox.
He'll be his own mold (on my display anyways), he's the right size, and he conveniently solves another problem wonderfully: Ratbat. My cassette minions won't be represented by MP's (like many have done) and KFC's Ratbat (Badbat) looks awesome. I've thought about it for a loooooong time, and now I think is the right time to pounce. An official Soundwave was just released so it'll probably be a while before they release another one. Which actually, this thread just made me realize.
