Ok, so after playing with these dudes for a bit, I've got some opinions to lay down.
Firstly, that Boosticus set is gonna be a pain in the ass to install, but I think I can manage. Plus the black seems to work for Wreckers, so hopefully it works out color wise.
Now, onto the main Event.
Astrotrain: This guy is one of my favorite Decepticons, but he is irking me a bit. I love both the robot and Shuttle modes. He's currently locked in Shuttle mode and it is so fun to fly him around. But the train mode bothers me. I cannot get his side panels to tab in properly and stay. They lock perfectly fine in shuttle mode but in train mode 2 of them flop around way too much. His guns are also irritating with where I need to place them in train mode, and it always looks a bit too top heavy for me. Also, his Darkmoon won't sit still in his cockpit. He wobbles way too easily and in robot mode it scares me to take him off. He fits so tight in bot mode but will not sit nicely in the cockpit.
But overall though Astrotrain is by no means bad. He's just got some things that irk me. But that Shuttle mode is to die for and the bot mode is really nice.
Alpha LionTrion: This guy is basically the same as Astrotrain with regards to how much I love it compared to how I'm irked by it. For one thing he is incredibly majestic, easily a top 5 or even top 2 in my opinion. His colors are amazing and the paint apps are smart and beautiful. The beast mode head is my favorite, and his robot chest is phenomenal.
Now, the parts I don't really like: those stupid horns will pop out in jet mode if I look away from them and are a pain to get to stay down. Also, his spaceship mode won't stay tabbed together at the front. But those are the only 2 major things bad about him.
He is majestic, the paint apps are wonderful, and the lion mode to me is the best alternate mode. It looks so cool and it is so much fun! When I do take pics and mass upload within the next few days, I'm going to try to have Blurr or someone ride him. And let Nightbeat swap heads with him just cause IDW. He seriously looks amazing in both beast and robot mode and I cannot gush enough about either of those modes. The sword is also incredible! His colors just work soooo well for the mold!
And then, Armor up Baymax is fun and adorable, and my new stuffed Baymax is cuddly and my girlfriend keeps trying to steal him. Maybe I can figure out a way to use a Baymax and a ring together...
So yes, overall I love my haul. I'm also glad I didn't get the deluxes because even though they are sold out from Hasbro, I have too many figures right now in my dorm. And I haven't been able to take any home in the 2 months I've been here, so fall break this weekend will be refreshing. Plus, it means all kinds of photo opportunities for the guys at home. Plus I can show off my new Ruination when he's done.
In closing:
Will: Alpha Lio-dammit Trion- is a majestic Transformer. He deserves to be on that list. Maybe not the best triple changer, but he is very good with regards to the beast mode.
Bee: Get Alpha Trlion. He is marvelous and I don't regret getting him.
Kurona: Ruination showoff will be coming soon. But the head sculpts on those figures are amazing.
D-Max: Out.
I couldn't find them. I may try again. Also did TFwiki looking at Dinobot's listing to see all his toys and see which were redecoed/retooled.
. In a world with more cash I'd nab Perfect Effect's Leonidas. Now that is a sexy Leo Convoy
