Hell yeah! What boggle my mind is at the time, Botshots were on clearance at my local Target for 3$something + taxes (instead of 6) and that 3 pack was at the same price as a single one for some reason. It was the only one left. Even though I alreay had a BB and Shocky (1st version) I just couldn't pass this set at that ridiculous price.

Just managed to get out and about yesterday and got the following

• Cybertron Ransack(quick question, is his cyber key supposed to be all red?)
• Cybertron Scattorshot
• Cybertron Brushguard(minus his chest missile, but that's my fault for snagging one that was in vehicle mode and not noticing the lack of a purple stick poking out the back )
• Cybertron Scrapmetal(yellow, big surprise)

all those were from a nerd shop, they had a lot more there but I was more focused on the Cybertron Scouts at the time

• Generations Autobot Skids
• Generations Waspinator
• Generations Dreadwing

All from ToysRus, which may or may not have been a mistake as I didn't have a chance to check the WalMart in town before leaving

From an out of the way Target. This find being particularly excellent for me as I can't recall ever finding a store that has ever stocked Legends Class figures around here, and I can now induce Wasp-ception!

Yep. Ransack's is one of three keys (along with Optimus and Vector Prime's) that lack a painted border. His GTS repaint has a correctly painted key.

I finally received my Gen Metroplex today. Of course, I had to pay 27$ in custom fees. why should we always pay custom fees from things above 100$ that come from the USA, but China, Japan, and the rest of Asia get a free pass? Jeez, that's a Metroplex that cost me almost 190$, customs and Shjipping included from BBTS. Americans, you have no right to whine your Transformers are expensives. Especially those who bought him at Costco for 80$. Those who had it for 50$, CURSE OF EXPLOSIVE DIAREHA UPPON YOU!

I assembled the beast and put batteries in it. I've yet to apply the zillions of stickers. So far, even if it does feel a bit cheap, it's GINORMOUS and impressive looking. Mabe I'll buy the accessories to mod it. Also, the dude TALK! Yay!

I just saw that the regular American Metroplex at 110$ was now SOLD OUT at BBTS. Whew! I'm glad I did not wait any longer. I would have been screwed to get the way more expansive Japanese or special editions.

I randomly went to my local TrU today.
Well well well, lookie here! Everything that interested me was on sale with plenty of stock! Even the moddafokka Year Of The Horse Pinkie Pie! (man, she's huge!) Pinkie was only 18$, BH deluxes 7$, Legions 5$, Generations deluxes 11$, and the Generations Scout/minicon duopacks were 9$. All in all, this whole lot was just 76$ with taxes!

Now THAT's a haul that make me smile.

Yeah, that's what I ended up doing too. I'm still debating the First Edition one, but I have two Legion Vehicons, a Legion Air Vehicon, an AM Jet Vehicon and a PRiD Vehicon. Army, done.

Now Steve has his Mini-Me, Lil' Steve. That's the trouble with little toys, they keep multiplying. So far, my count is:

3x Kre-O Vehcions
1x PRiD Vehicon
1x Legion Vehicon
1x Legion Air Vehicon

All I need now is a AM Jet Vehicon, maybe a General and possibly FE. Now, my other guy for the day, well...

Bot Shots Super Bot 001 Sunstorm

I can't help it, I like them! And Sunstorm being a clear Super Bot befits his character.

Quite a mini haul today.
First, even if I still didnt changed my mind from what I have previously said, I bough Target's exclusive BH Abobinus set. It was on clearance and it barely ammounted to 15$ total. So, why not? Even if the combined mode is still ugly as fawk, the individual bots are quite neat. And I have a thing for clear toys.

Next is Prime Legend Soundwave and my first Micro Changer. I got Hoist. Nice little dude!

Finally, I found the perfect thing to complete my Generations Metroplex. The tiny ROTF keychains. I found all 8 of them, randomly thrown into a final clearance bin of random toys in a toy warehouse. Total price for the set was barely 13$ total. Not too bad. Of course, these little buggers cant transform, but they are greatly detailed and are somewhat painted. Yeah, that's a clash of timelines and universes, to put movie toys on a classic figure, but meh, close enough. It's almost as if I bought the SDCC version!

This acquisition proves a couple of my points in hunting:

1) If you're willing to wait, do so with caution!
2) If you deviate from the usual route, you may find surprising things
3) If you find something you can't find anywhere else at a good price, get it!

Who am I talking about? Let me explain:

I had a coupon for the Beast Hunters Voyager Assortment from the local toy store a month or two back (yup, during the Dutch holiday shopping season), and it had him on the shelf. Stupid me left him because he looked off, only to find out he was perfectly fine. So I went back the next day, and he was gone. No other toys to fill in the gap either, so I was doubled peeved
Fast forward to today, I grabbed a now rare opportunity to go shopping (the weather and more notably my wife's health have been getting in the way) for a friend of mine (if you must know, Kre-O Bruticus). Didn't find what he wanted, so I looked outside my normal area. And there he was:

And permanently discounted to boot!

3 down, several to go. I did finally see Lazerback in person, and color me impressed. At full price though (€20!), not yet. Still no sign of Ripclaw!

Got MP8 Grimlock with flame sword in the mail. So stoked. Favorite transformer ever next to Prime and Soundwave. Now I have MP10, MP10B, MP2 TRU Soundwave and MP-8 Grimlock all on my desk. What works of art. 30th Anniversary year has been good to me, expensive but good!

Waiting the long wait us folk have over here in the U.K. for the latest figure to reach our shores, I sat patiently hoping for one of the final Transformers Prime screened characters to appear on a toy store shelf/website.

The Transformers Prime cartoon ended. No figure?

Later Waves are released. No figure?

Then the ever unreliable Ebay.co.uk came to my rescue!

Thanks to a friendly U.K. based Ebay seller, I am finally the proud owner of Transformers Prime GO! Voyager 'Hunter' Shockwave!
At £25 which included delivery, I am super-pleased the seller accepted my offer. Shocky looks awesome!
