Just picked up a Whirl this weekend. I was on the fence about him, but changed my mind. Now I have a sociopath on my shelves.
I also picked up TF Prime Hot Shot at Ross. Really like this one.

I have been into transformers since 1984.
While I love G1 I also love new innovations and takes on the characters.
I prefer official Hasbro releases of stuff for the most part
I'm not a huge fan of Japanese original Transformers media or designs.
It's easier for me to say which are my LEAST favorite toy lines: Beast Machines, Robots in Disguise.
TFCon List: Classics Skywarp, General Optimus, BW Airrazor, Transmetal Tarantulus, Alternity Prime, Fire Convoy

May I suggest the ULTIMATE Megatron? Titanium "GI-Joe" Megatron.
It's a lot of fun!
Blimey! That's one toy from the zone of avoidance.
Overquoting just to tell that if you can find it for cheap, buy it.
Why?
For the spiritual experience, of course!
I got mine as a freebie in a lot and let me tell you, you have to LIVE and FEEL the Titanium "Joe" Megatron. This will make appreciate the rest of your collection way more!

Cool Haul today. I got 5 more of my most wanted list.
My Walmart still had an autobot skids so I jumped on it and then I got Wreck-Gar, Cyclonus and Terradive through a sale and unexpectedly got NightSlash Cheetor, deluxe Jetstorm (boy were the deluxes big back then), Cybertron Leo Breaker and Animated Oil Slick.
Fun day and let me say that Cyclonus is worth every penny, what a gorgeous figure!

Target has been treating me nice over the last week. After months of nothing but dwindling BH and earlier thrilling 30 runs, I snagged Whirl last week and Rhinox on Monday.
Both awesome figures and glad I can stop hunting for a while.

I just wanted the mold since I heard it was one of the best out there, so I would have taken any that came my way. And since I grew up on Beast Wars instead of the 80s show, I dont need characters from that show to be as show accurate as possible. I rarely need more than one of a particular mold.

So I wanted to fill out my collection with some fembots, so 3rd Party aside, I found this mould to be a very good representation; curvy, articulated, nice deco...
Movie Scout Elita One!

I had plans for her to be my Classics Arcee but now realised there is also an Arcee available in a slightly different deco?

So then I find there are a whole host of repaints available as seen in the Seibertron photo below!

Can I get a name check for all these lovely ladies please, I needs me some fembot lovin'!!

Mel, the Arcee was the first one, from Energon. There's a slightly different one from the Japanese series. Think the green one came from there too. The blue one was from a movie line. Think the rest were Botcon ones. (but I'm sure someone else will correct me...)

I spotted Voyagers Optimus and Grimlock at WalMart today. I picked up Optimus only, (because I think Grimlock is hideous) and I wasn't disappointed. It's a very good figure. Dare I say better than the Leader. From previous photos and reviews I didn't think I would, but once I had it in hand at the store, it was a must-get.
I went to give his shotgun to DoTM Voyager Megatron, just to see if it would fit, and it does. Also, I noticed that Evasion Optimus scales very well with DoTM Megatron in both modes. In both modes he's juuuuust a bit bigger, but it's much closer than DoTM Voyager Optimus was.

Here's what I got from BBTS:
3 random arms micron (the fushia snake, optimus and bumblebee)
FOC Shockwave (great robot mode, but the vehicle mode is a bit lacking)
Energon FE Starscream (perfect figure, probably my favourite jet transformer mold, I love how in btoh modes all peices fit tight into one another)
Prime RID Behicon (the vehicle kibble turning into the legs is the stuff of legends)
...and AM 27 Ultra Magnus. The price was good and the Micron is fun but the mold is lacking. There is so much kibble in both modes. The robot has an unimaginative backpack and the vehicle mode doesnt even try to hide the robot legs. BUT his arms and chest are pretty cool and he can hold the hammer with both hands. Not sure I recomend it, even at 20$

Hell yeah, the FE Starscream mold is PIMP as hell!
The RID voyager is so lacking in comparison.
BTW, the Beast Hunters mold is also pretty neat. Sure, the colors are pretty random, but the mold itself is near FE quality. You may find it for 5 or 10$ with some luck. If you want prettier colors, you can import the Takara one for 40$.

Got a nice haul today.
I purchased RotF Leader Jetfire, the Takara one that came packed-in with the Buster Optimus with face-plate. Now my set is complee! (Only 40$ for Jetfire!)
Then, in a trade, I got these five Cybertron scouts:

2. Hardtop (Target exclusive with S7 key)
3. Storm Surge (shortround repaint)
4. Scrapmetal (red)
5. Brakedown
Plus these Beast Wars:
B'Boon, that Polar Bear, and Rhinox.
All complete and in great condition.
