Got PCC Smolder in yesterday. He's awesome. Now I just need some limbs for him and Sledge...

Awesome! I also got into the PCC craze a bit later and smoulder was one of my must haves. I love his combiner head!

Some PCC are perfect for a legion/cyberverse battle display. Especially the construction vehicles, that are perfectly in scale with everything. I skip the combined modes and the limbs because I really don't like them. However, some bot modes are way better with the bigger head than the regular one.

Sledge is in my Legends display (AKA the top of my bookcase) for that very reason. He's a hulking brute in my collection. Smolder however is gonna be in my Classics collection.

I went to the flea market today. A nice and real one, with lots and lots of antiques in it. So, here's my quite nice and cheap haul from there:

MISC rotf depthcharge.
G1 Runabout missing gun but work perfectly,
G1 Warpath
G1 Blitzwing, with gun barrel and in great condition, except for the labels and missing gun, sword and missiles.
Also, a Beast Wars Deadend without gun.
Last but not least, a vintage Goldorak figure!


All in all, just 49$CAN total!

Wow, really nice! Don't have a lot of flea markets up there? One of the good things about living in Florida is that there seem to be a ton of flea markets around here (along with garage/yard sales year round).

In fact, one of the ones I went to a little while ago had all of G1 Devastator and a G1 Motormaster for sale. I all most picked them up, but I wasn't to sure on the pricing at the time and didn't know if I was getting ripped off or not, so I passed.

I havent been posting here much because a lot of my items were waiting to be released and delivered. Well, the deluge is starting, with these two babies finally arriving from Japanù: Transformers Go! Bodura and Gaidora. One took a rather long time (they were bought a week apart) and I realized why. It was sent to Vancouver then back to Japan, then finally back to me. Come on Japan, get your sh!t together!









Oh and I also got McDonalds Clampdown, Grimlock and Underbite. And man, those Go! figures have INSANE headsculpts to almost puts everything else to shame and can turn these average figures into some truly worthwhile collectables. My top 10 headsculpt list just got a lot harder.

Boy, that one must have racked up quite a few frequent flier miles then. The box on the left looks like it went through a bit of a rough time as well. So, is Go! supposed to be the equivalent of TF Prime?

It was a show after Prime only released in japan, if I'm not mistaken, it was in the same universe as Prime.

Yeah, the show itself is not an equivalent, just an extra show that was in Japan only. They had Prime as well. The extra show used a lot of Japan Exclusive toys and other toys that were never featured on the prime show here, like the two guys I purchased. It's a lot like Beast Wars II and Beast Wars Neo. Japan exclusive shows using exclusive toys and other toys that werent featured in the show in the west.

Heh. Had something like that happen to me once, had a set of earplugs coming from New Zealand (about 2500km away) go via Victoria, Canada, instead of going straight to Victoria, Australia....

The best way to see Go! is as a separate branch, like how overall G1 fiction split off after Season 3 into US The Rebirth and Japanese The Headmasters. Go! is basically TakaraTomy's answer to our Beast Hunters as the sequel to Prime.

The MP's are TRU exclusives. The Generations just got relegated because of the other crap that was out there at the time.

CW and RiD stuff is starting to flow through now. Unfortunately at higher prices $29AUD for Deluxes, that's why when I found these guys for $25AUD each and combined postage I splurged.

My intent was to keep it sealed for my MOSC collection. I nervously open the enveloppe... To see that the toy and packaging were miraculously intact! That's one bullet dodjed.

Now, Gudora is hanging there, next to his yellow Beast Hunter brother.
(The red original is open and on display).
