Where'd you get him from? Haven't seen him or Wildrider on sale any where yet. Probably not looking hard enough though, heh.

He's only available online. Like here: http://www.robotkingdom.com/gen2015dqb.html
While they are currently sold out, they are taking preorders for a restock.
I decided against getting the Stunticons, so I just bought Quickslinger by himself on eBay. Still haven't opened them...ClearlySane88 wrote:Rodimus Prime wrote:My CW Quickslinger arrived today! Finally the TRUE Superion can be assembled!![]()

Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.

The guy only sought to recoup his costs and that they go to a good home. It cost me 150$ total. I know, I can't believe it either and I am staring right at them.
And the thing is that these are of course no cells for the other Beast Wars show since it was CGI and every other series after used computers for drawing and coloring. So these were the last 2 shows to be animated the traditional way with hand painted cells.

Slog is especially bad, all that cheap rubber instead of plastic, just don't get how anyone can say it is worth the cost

I think it's the amazing alt mode which distracts me from any flaw.

I'd probably agree with you if I could actually get him into his alt mode.
If the alt mode actually tabbed together then I might agree, if it wasn't for the big bit of deformed rubber that forms the dino chest. It just hangs there looking like an apron.william-james88 wrote:Arctorro wrote:Megatron and his cohorts are naturally awesome! The bot mode has an entire ankylosaurus hanging off him, most of it on the right shoulder. If the tail could be used as a melee weapon it'd be different, but it curves in the wrong direction.Nemesis Primal wrote:I've wanted a version of the Bazooka mold, but it was always too rich for my blood. The curve of the Dino mode limits it a bit (I was expecting that), but right rear leg is just slack.
I've always wanted an ankylosaurus TF, so maybe my disappointment caused a bit of an over reaction, but this is the worst of the BW Dino's I've got.
Sorry. I will, just not tonight-Kanrabat- wrote:You gotta show off that Strongarm. I wanna compare to my Hasbro one.shajaki wrote:Today's haul! TAV Strongarm and Nemesis Prime, along with Bayformers DVD Steelbooks (weird I know).

william-james88 wrote:Ok guys, the downpour continues and I am writing this post humbled by the fact that I will never again have a haul as legendary to write about. These aren't toys actually, but instead a lot of animated hand painted cells from Beast Wars II and Beast Wars neo. A great guy named Chris was looking to sell a collection he built for 15 years and I could not resist. So without further ado, y'all ready for this?
So the lot was 57 painted cells of varying sizes, here are a handful:
These clear cells were painted from the back to give the image you see before you. Here is what they look like from the back:
And almost all of the cells come with the line art which gave an idea of what the finished cell would look like:
On some line art, you'll see some coloured pencils are applied to give an idea of how it should be painted:
Here's more of my haul (don't worry, I wont post all 57 cells)
This next one's pretty cool, it came with 2 pages of line art, one of them just a mouth. If you superimpose it, you get the finished drawing used for the painted cell:
And here are some more awesome cells. All were used to make the show of course. Pretty insane when you think that they have to make 24 of these per each second on screen.
I might make a feature on the site to detail the collection and provide better pics. But in case I never get to it, I hope you liked the post. Thanks a bunch Chris!!!!
