Turns out he is in horrid condition with many bits missing. But my ROTF Jetfire has a piece broken so this one will be used to replace that part.

Through the years I have been collecting i realized that it is just as hard if not harder to engineer a simpler transformation which achieves the same result. There is a lot of beauty in simplicity. Takara was immensely proud of what they did with RID Bumblebee for instance.

And combiner wars is a pefect example to show that compleity in transformation doesnt make a better toy, when compared to the combiner offerings we had before the line came about.

Y'know...honestly, I hope that some day in the future, after we have Masterpieces of most of G1 and a good chunk of Beast Wars, that the line moves on to the rest of the TF mythos. RiD, other RiD, the Unicron Trilogy, Prime, Animated, all that stuff.

I'm sure it will. One day the kids of the unicorn trilogy will be adults with disposable income, just like the G1 generation does now.
