Congrats on the Primus but that Nightwatch is where its at.
Always pissed i missed out on him for retail.
One of the coolest Prime repaints, to me, in a long time; color scheme wise.

Yeah, remimds me that if people in the UK are still collecting this particular group of Deluxes, they're only £9.99 in B&M rather than usual £16 or more. i keep seeing them there at the cambridge store every time i check for cool things. Oddly they even have huge colourful KO's of other CW Deluxes. No idea if there's any oversized Voyager kos there. Would be huge. The Deluxes look about leader sized from what i recall.
I have anxiety, depression and aspergers syndrome so my behaviour can be erratic. I don't mean offense to anyone. Just very picky about my Transformers collecting. You're all cool! :)

Likes: Bayverse, Marvel UK G1, Geoff Senior art, '86 movie (more for style/soundtrack rather than Star Wars plot)
Dislikes: Bumblebee movie (lousy rehashed dumb crud), TFA, G1 cartoon, IDW G1, BW/BM, MP. The entire concept of Autobot Megatron

Here in Holland Deluxes are 20-24€. I saw a TF4 Voyager Grimlock still for 65€ in the Intertoys today! :o

Maybe it's a dumb question, but what is a cambridge store?

I don't think that the national toy and drug stores are making mistakes by buying in Knock-Off's though. :P

Sorry I meant the Cambridge branch of the store chain known as B&M which is a discount store selling a range of products often much cheaper than anywhere else. In the case of things like Transformers they often get in a few of whatever TF line has mostly run it's course and get heavy discounts on them. Generations Voyagers like Springer, Sandstorm and their lot were £12.99 when usually £23 in other shops and Leader Class Jetfire from that same sorta time was £29.99 instead of £49.99.
I've also bought several of those awesome recent Batman The Animated Series figures from there for £7.99 when they're usually about £20 in other stores or online. :D

Shameful that the Voyagers in the UK are the same price as the Deluxes in the Netherlands. You guys are very lucky, buying a Leader Class for £50 while here you need to pay almost £10 more for a Voyager Class....

Found these guys at target yesterday. Octane is pretty amazing, but Blitzwing has some concerns. Namely, his chest piece hinge is warped, which throws it out of alignment.

A good while ago, I was fooled into a G1 Grimlock "reissue" from China. Brand new in box for "only" 60$CAN shipped.

That didn't end well...

Image

Well, I WANT a GENUINE G1 Grimlock.
So, I asked my local store owner if he could do me one more trade for a G1 Grimlock without accessories. Yes he did!

So I gave up a pair of Power Rangers Megazords (American) and here's the one and only...

:michaelbay: G1 GRIMLOCK! :michaelbay:

With Oppening diaclone cockpit door seal of approval. The Ko's didn't open at all.

At least the KO accessories work perfectly here. So I have a G1 Grimlock "100%" complete.

The G1 original always display so well with the MP!

Took a visit to Indiana to visit the folks for the 4th of July. Stopped at a local flea market to see what was new since I made my last visit back in August. Managed to find a couple interesting little things.

Image

Came across these guys by accident. Was poking around a box of Happy Meal toys, and these were stuck in the box about halfway down. managed to get them all for $9. Was kind of sad to see that all of Deluge's paint had worn away, but I still thought he was neat enough.

Image

Also found an interesting poster for about $15 in one of the other booths. Don't know too much about it, as the label just said "TRANSFORMERS POSTER". I figured it was some kind of promo or ad poster for old G1 reprints. Also appears to be signed by Simon Furman, though I can't exactly validate that. Any ideas as to what exactly it's from are more than welcome!

Nice find on that poster there. I've got a few of the reprint books it's promoting. They were reprints from about 2001 onwards of the Marvel US stuff with new covers by Andy Wildman and I have a couple of the slightly larger (cos british comics were bigger size than US comics) reprints of Marvel UK strips with new covers by (my fave TF artist) Geoff Senior.

DSC_0003 (31).jpg

There's a list of them at http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Titan_Books

Hm just browsing through that list I can see I also have that much smaller black and white reprint book Way of the Warrior somewhere too cos Carnivac is one of my fave TF characters

I kinda wish this forum had one of those facebookish 'Like' buttons other forums have so we could 'Like' posts without needing to comment. There have been times I wanted to show appreciation towards a well thought out post or a cool toy haul or anything but didn't feel I had anything substantial to say and like I'd just be 'spamming'. :P

(not having a go at your comment at all, it just made me think of a 'like' feature) :D

Ah, thank you for the reply! Looks like my poster in particular is the Primal Scream/Matrix Quest book covers in one single image. Very interesting stuff! Were these also released in the US by Titan Books, or was it just a UK release? The wiki doesn't seem very clear, at least not to me.

I'm assuming just UK as that's where I'm from and Titan is based. If anyone found these in the US perhaps imported by a comic store I don't know about it. :P

I'm curious how it ended up here, too, along with Furman's apparent stamp on it. I would guess it was picked up at a convention somewhere, where it was subsequently signed.

Feels fitting that it's now in the hands of a Seibertron user with a Marvel UK character username and avatar though, a character brought into the US run at the time of these particular stories too.

Yeah, despite not being able to transform and basically being a kibble-less Megatron design with a weird mouth he was a pretty cool character. :D

Yay! Now Ironhide and Sunstreaker and a Voyager Prime and you have a combiner!

This week I bought a MMC Feral Rex (with 5 original members, not 6) from a guy in the US, for about €300,- insired shipping included. Can't wait till it gets here.
Also got a GREAT deal on a U.W. Superion, plus white ánd silver Perfect Effect hands/feet kit (one for my Bruticus), for..... €35,-!!! He also had a UW Devastator which he sold for €100,- that I had bid for too, but he sold it before he got my bid apparently... I hope I didn't get scammed, because it sounded too good to be true. But he's been very friendly and communicative, and I got his bank account number, so I have faith...

I'm debating TR Twintwist, as I got Topspin in a secondhand lot... (I have a big pre-order coming in soon, with TR Octone, Blitzwing, Astrotrain, Cosmos, Wolfwire, Kup and Perceptor)

Also debating adding some extra P.E. kits for €30,- each. Seems a lot for just 2 feet and hands... Could use another white set for my white PC OP combiner and a silver set for Grand Galvatron... Wish I could get those cheaper somewhere.
Want list:
Siege Sideswipe, Skytread, Soundwave, Starscream, Shockwave, Red Alert, Brunt, Smashdown, Greenlight, Toy Refraktor set, Impactor, Spinister, Lancer, Crosshairs, Hot Shot, Rumble & Ratbat, Frenzy & Wingthing, Skywarp.
Earthrise Snapdragon & Apeface.
Generations Selects Pirahnacon!

Wow...so much new figures you got there mate. :O

I saw Sunstreaker and Ironhide in the Intertoys but I find them a little expensive(15€ for one) for my budget. :/
