First day at Montreal's Comiccon and I'm already broke.

Still, I got some nifty stuff:



Find myself GoBots Crasher at last! All her stickers are there even though they are peeling a bit.
Only 10$CAN!

Also, a ROTF Bludgeon. Missing main canon/Katana and it have a broken missile launcher on one if his tank turret. Still, at 10$CAN it was pretty reasonable and I do have a 3P upgrade kit that will be perfect on him.

A print signed by the original artist of my favorite betrayer, Starscream!

A tiny Pokémon Mudkip plush.

And the most expensive thing (100$CAN), a statue of one of the main character of my favorite Québécois webcomic. Zii from Ménage â Trois. The author and artist of the comic, Giselle Lagacé was there and she signed for me both the base of the statue and her box. Nice!

Also, Optimus Prime himself was there, live!

I haven't heard anything. Ramjet however (their first MP Conehead) had a few issues though

RotF Bludgeon is still one of my absolute fave TF figures ever. And if that 3P upgrade kit you mention is Headrobots Blood (like I have) then it's even better.

No, it's actually the Perfect Effect PA-01 Super Tank Weapon Set.

Really? I wasn't fond of the RotF figure face (didn't really look like a skull or anything to me.. just.. odd) but it was the helm I hated so much. Fat squat lil thing. I love the headrobots helm so damn much and I love BOTH faces on it too (the human skull on one side and the jawless cyber-skull on the other). Also having nice shiny (and non-bendy) chrome swords really finish the figure off (even if I have CUT myself on the ends of the swords several times over the years )



Either way it's a great figure so yeah just do what you like best with it.

Anyone know if a Takara Legends Titans Blurr with a slightly fudged up antenna is actually worth anything to anybody? I'm bored of Titnas and want more money for other things (like some more TLK figures such as Nitro) and downsizing them so trying to estimate values.

There's a reason he's one of the 10 Legends figures people wanted a re-run of the most. He was very popular and hence sold out very quickly -- and his re-run is a bit tricky to get around since it's Japan-exclusive and not carried by a lot of American/European online retailers. Even with the fudged antenna I think you could very easily get someone to buy it for retail price.

Yeah he's still a really fun figure but as my collection changes he's looking a bit left out. I'm keeping my Titans Hot Rod as I've painted him a lot to be my Marvel tribute Hot Rod but main Hot Rod is now the KO Masterpiece I got a while ago which is too big for Blurr. Gen Arcee is likely going cos I have that oversized KO (with the removable back kibble) which fits MP Hot Rod's size (and sorta Voyager Gen Springer... though he's a smidge too small)

Can see Blurr here.. though he doesn't show his antenna looking quite as 'chewed' as it does in person (mainly from the side)


And while the antenna no longer slides all the way back into the Titan Master it does go in enough to stand up fine (the back of the antenna slots neatly in the thigh gap) and he can sit in the vehicle fine.



These pics and that vibrant colour scheme make me almost wanna keep him. I'd be happier with an oversized KO to go with Hot Rod and Arcee though on my '86 movie squad' if such a thing existed.

Work out how much those all cost at full price and how much they all cost at Kapow Sales price and what the difference in cost is
Despite having 'quit' Titans Return I am tempted to get Alpha Trion for £10.99 and as i mentioned elsewhere, paint him silver and maybe brass/bronze/gold and use him as a TLK knight (by the name of Lionheart which be a name befitting his royalty and obviously his lion alt-form. Ok Transformers don't have hearts.. no powerglide they do not.. but not sure if anyone would get the king richard reference if i called him Lionspark... although that still has a nice ring to it and sounds similar enough to Lionheart the reference is not totally wasted... hmmmmmm)
