Sounds reasonable for shipping, given you can only get there by Tornado.

Got RID Warrior Twinferno off Amazon for only $8~something. That definitely feels like the price it's worth, it isn't a very good figure. Super simple transformation, awkward arm articulation (just like the TR figure) and the dragon heads are entirely unnecessary. The dragon heads definitely feel like a last minute change to the mold, probably originally intended to be nose cones or guns or something. Just glad I didn't pay full price.

So I went a bit crazy on eBay and Max-B, Sharp Edge & Hard Head are on their way to me now :shock:

Note: I didn't actually want Hardhead, yet he came in a Vs. box with Sharp Edge (as I don't like the Dinobot Mold and don't want to complete it). Extracting my Sharkticon, when they arrive anyone who is interested in Hardhead, PM me.

So I got Cindersaur in the mail today. He's a pretty neat little dude. There's a few tiny nods to the G1 toy (including a reference to the horn on the G1 toy's dino mode). Also, I love his Amalgamous Prime card. There's something funny about him turning into a fire truck just to start fires. He's definitely one of my favorite Legends class toys from this line.

Gradually filling in the holes in my collection, and trying to rebuild my BW collection. It’ll never be what it was, before they were almost all sold off. I’m trying to get there, while still being selective and frugal. I’m mostly focusing on Transmetals.

Jawbreaker is very cool. His beast mode looks awesome, but is a little flimsy in the hips. I love his bio.

Spinning deltoid blade!

Unfortunately there was some minor paint chipping/crumbling on his shoulders, as that’s the case with a lot of these. I’m wondering if there’s a way to fix that. All in all, though, I’m pretty happy with him. Jawbreaker was one I missed when I was a kid.

I’m eagerly anticipating what is easily going to be the best haul I’ll ever have had, next week. Admittedly I might have gone a little overboard... :oops:

Don't worry, Bucky, going overboard is all part of being a collector! :lol:

But yeah, be careful around the Transmetal and Beast Machine chrome paint. That paint aged badly and tend to bubble-up and peel/flakes away. It's not GPS though so in the end, you get a figure with "battle damage" effect rather than a downright broken one. ;)^

Yeah, tell me about it. So far though I’ve noticed that it’s mostly with red and purple metallic paint. Like in the case of Jawbreaker. His paint was already damaged while in his packaging. A few years ago, I picked up a sealed TM2 Cheetor. I removed him, and nearly every bit of the purple paint on his right arm just sloughed off.

But my old TM Cheetor, which somehow escaped being sold, hasn’t chipped at all. And oddly all of my Takara TM figures are perfectly fine.

I plan to pick up a compressor later this year. I want to get into customizing figures. I’m hoping I can fix some of these guys with chipped paint.

So I had sent my Studio Series Bumblebee back to Hasbro becuse it was just horrendous. They eventually sent me back a box. You never know what you get.

What could be in the box.....

As it turns out, I got Bumblebee. And it was a good one too. The roof never fell during transformation. So Hasbro definitely delivered here!

I found the entire second wave of PotP Legends figures. Pretty satisfied with Tailgate and Battletrap, but the individual Duocon components are rather lackluster. I'm probably going to keep them in combined form.

Happy Grimlock Day! It's Grimlock DAAAAAAAAAY!!

Got PotP Grimlock in the mail from Amazon today for just over $25, the first time I've seen him at that price since February (which was the last time I saw one in stores). Just hope I can find the last two Dinobots at a good price to complete the set.

Then today at Kmart I picked up Studio Series Grimlock, my first SS figure. I had a $12 promotional gift card so I was able to get him for about $40 after tax!
