Well, this Sixgun
is more meant for the original's purpose of just arming other bots in general. A Sixgun that did the same things for Generations Metroplex that the original Sixgun did for G1 Metroplex would end up being Leader-class!

I mean, considering there is a Laserbeak redeco for the original Terrorsaur figure, you would have thought it a no-brainer? Especially given the "jet" mode couldn't look like more of a homage/re-imagining??
Thing is, Lazorbeak was really only a
name homage:

I don't recall our favorite snooping cassette-condor being purple

Found him yesterday, couldn't resist and got him. 50$ is a steal, and I got one with excellent hips and a tail. Those stickers tho...
Excellent stuff. Patience and tweezers, is how I overcame the stickers. Still haven't got Metroplex out of the box I bought months ago, because I don't have that time right now. I do take issue with the fact modern figures are bundled with stickers at all as a bit of a con, but it is what it is.
I'm fine with stickers, myself. I find them fun to put on, and they're better than just having a sparse handful of paint operations with no supplement (*cough*Bandai America*cough*). And it's probably easier to do all the fancy greebly detail as stickers.

Ugh, I feel you on that one.
I've been remiss, so time to play catch-up. Here's all I've acquired since my last posted haul, in chronological order:
SIEGE Cog (No individual photo yet, whoops)

Battle Blade Bumblebee! Sooooo glad to have this guy. He is the definitive Deluxe-class Movie Bumblebee as far as my collection is concerned. Integrated cannon and retractable battle mask = win, and the axe is a nice bonus despite the awkwardness.
ROTF Jetfire tailfins and missile (no pic)

SIEGE Chromia. She was a somewhat serendipitous find - I would normally never buy anything from the store I found her at, but one day I had to go in there anyway because I urgently needed the restroom.
Guest-starring Cog.
Optimus Primal missile (no pic)

Cybertron Dark Crumplezone. No key, but he has both missiles as well as
the blasted fins.

"Magnus Prime" from the Siege on Cybertron boxset. I got him for $33 plus $7 shipping, which was a nice deal IMO. He has become the de facto Powermaster Optimus Prime of my collection. Yes, despite all the work I put into the regular one...

An Optimus Primal sword and another missile. Found in an assorted lot of LEGO Technic pieces, of all places. Was $13 shipped, so can't complain.

SIEGE Megatron. Not bad, at least, makes for a serviceable CHUG Megs. Pondering ways the design could be kitbashed into a "submarine" if I were to get a 2nd.

To go with "Magnus Prime", I ordered
Legends Godbomber. Who finally arrived on Wednesday. And I'm quite happy with the purchase. I look forward to taking plenty of photos, and will scan the instructions.
Yesterday was a lovely day for my collection.

First, my Amazon order of Punch-Counterpunch and Alpha Trion/Landmine arrived in the mail. Nice to have them both. Punch checks off another box in the Headmaster-era list and is fun to play with, and it's always good to have more Prime Masters.
Then, at Target I picked up the following three:

SIEGE Ultra Magnus. Very happy to have him, he's the SIEGE Leader-class figure I wanted the most.

SIEGE Sixgun. A lovely update of the original.

And finally, SIEGE Aimless. He's going to need corrective surgery like Firebolt did, but he's still nice.
What's
not nice is what TR Misfire is selling for on eBay currently
