Oh man, the thrift store was packed with stuff today.



Sadly, it turned out to be a load of junk since most TFs were far more incomplete than I thought. What you see below cost me $20 (15 USD). Not bad but technically worthless.

So to have a chance to complete my Elita-1 combiner, I had to order her from Ebay.
And pay almost double retail for it, of course.

Picked up Siege Laserbeak and Ravage. They're OK, but don't really do much. They don't even have particularly interesting transformations and lack a combined weapon mode like the other 2 packs. I knew this, of course, but I was hoping there could be a decent fan mode since they have 5mm pegs, but nope.

They're Soundwave's DLC that should have been included with the full game. For ages 5 & up; parts are designed to pop off with force; includes micro transactions.

Hasbro is trying to tap into that "toys as service" market. Hasbro Premium is their Trojan horse.

Picked up Generations Duocon Battleslash today (White Battletrap helicopter)

Even had fun with a few 5mm weapon like this



Pros

Good poseability
* Nice Colors
* Can be used as a white helicopter for a cheap scout Megatron (based on Animated)

Cons

* Blades dont spin smoothly for rotor-sword on arm.
*Heels/feet are tiny, falls over easily.
* No landing gear.
* Combiner head is useless without Roadtrap.

Not a bad week for TF stuff. My wave 2 Siege deluxes finished trickling in. All bought at that mistaken $9.99 price point. Ironhide is definitely my favorite of the four.

Also found that SS Target exclusive battle damaged movie Megatron and Bonecrusher at Target. I adore Bonecrusher. He’s so delightfully asymmetrical.

Also had some good luck with some packs of TF CCG. Got some uncommons that I was missing, but the big gets were Blitzwing and Nemesis Prime.

Ok, so I had the craziest toy haul I have ever had in my life this Saturday.

There was a comic-con here where I live, and I picked up a TON of stuff there for dirt-cheap. As in, great condition with no missing pieces, for like 20 bucks the whole lot. And boy am I happy! I now have 12 bins full of Classics, G1, Universe, Beast Wars, Combiner Wars, Titans Return, and a few Collectors Club figures. For 20$?!

I now have over 180+ new figures, and I will gladly post pictures here.

I feel like my good luck for the rest of my life has just been used, but hey, I feel awesome

BTW, got a couple Masterpieces from that guy too, so now I got MP10 and Soundwave now

I had pretty good luck this morning at Walmart myself. Almost didn't go into the toy aisle, I was just there the other day, but I'm sure glad I did!

Speaking of all alone on the shelf, I finally found Jefire, and DOTM Megatron (alone on the shelf at Target). Well, maybe not so alone cause they had eachother. But before that I hit the Walmart and picked up the re-issue OP (without the trailer). But it was better than going home empty handed. Didn’t expect to find Jetfire and Megatron after that. To all of you who are thinking about picking up Jetfire, you really need to get him. Bonus if you can find him in the store, but for me, I would’ve payed more. Megatron isn’t bad, and I’m really happy I got that OP. Is OP overpriced without the trailer? Maybe, but I couldn’t help myself.

Went back today to the same Walmart that I got my $21 Bee Movie Optimus Prime figure from to see if they happened to have a Rampage show up, and sure enough, there was a lone Rampage sitting there. I guess karma is working in my favor this week, I'll probably get hit by a truck next week.

Picked up all of these dudes yesterday from Toys R' Us! Then I fell on them getting them home!

Luckily they, and I, are undamaged (other than my knees, dammit). Shockwave is awesome, and this is the first time since the 80's where I've had a proper Ultra Magnus! Sideswipe's built-in pelvic thrust pose amuses me, Hound fills Hound shaped hole in my collection nicely, and the battle masters are all fun times. I passed up the opportunity to get a herd of Cogs though. Might pick them up later as there was no shortage of them.


Everyone was happy it was picture day. Except Ultra Magnus for some reason.

Picked up "ze little one" while Target was still giving 25% off via cartwheel.



Not sure how I feel about this "little guy". Bot mode is nothing special except for his silly "muppet" hands, transformation is pretty satisfying though and his alt mode is rock solid and a lot of fun to scoot across my desk. Only paid $15 for him, but I'm considering returning the yellow bastard.

Holy hell this thing is in awesome condition, he has all his parts, just missing the stickers for the base mode, but reprolabels has my back for that! I am goddamn stoked to be holding this thing again, you have no idea!

Powermaster Optimus is one hell of a catch!

On my end, I caved in and paid full 35$CAN total for the SS Cluncker Bee.
Not a bad figure, but NOT worth classic voyager price. Especially with the gun swapping gimming that is complete bull. Seriously, the elbow joint is weaker than the peg. That's just dumb. Car have some heavy undercarriage too. Still, it's leagues above the classic 2007 rusty Camaro Bee, who had "Automorph cancer".

Ended up making good on the Target Cartwheel deal Saturday. Picked up Siege Ironhide and Prowl and SS Scrapmetal for $45. Unfortunately the $10 off $50 is after Cartwheel so I couldn't use that. Shame, would have added something else if I knew. Still, can't really complain about $15 off $60.
