If i'm ordering one anyway, i might as well offer to get him one too, since he loves the BW MP's as much as i do.
I buy all new regular MP's from HLJ, and even including shipping and import duty, i usually save money compared to buying it from a Dutch store (not on small cheap orders though). He pays the price of the figure at time of release and a representative portion of the shipping costs. Basically he's got his MP-43 for 70 euro less than buying local.

Super jealous of everyone posting their BW MP Megatron. I’m hoping like hell that I can pick one up in the next few months. It’s just so hard to pull the trigger on such a pricey figure, when there’s still so much else I’m missing. Maybe I’ll get one over the summer, and call it my birthday present to myself.
I love the Scout class so very much. They’re so perfect to me. The size of old BW Basics, with the complexity of most modern Deluxes. Patients really pays off sometimes, because all of the Scouts were either the same price as, or cheaper than buying them used. I’ve had four instances of buying used figures in the last year, where they were listed as good - great condition, only to have them break almost instantly. At least there’s no cleaning, polishing of joints, stress or playwear in a new figure.
And now I finally have a figure of maybe my favorite Beast Wars character, Airazor. A non-TM version that is. And it’s her orange variant no less. Unfortunately I was watching a couple different auctions, and didn’t read the one I bought carefully enough. She’s missing her right shoulder pauldron. That’s probably going to be hard to find...

Yeah, there was a running change so some of them have identical towers and some have two different towers.

Well yeah, some people paid 100$ for the set just so they could get that figure. Calling people jerks doesn't make you any better, it makes you worse.

Due to space concerns, my City Bots (Generations Trypticon, Metroplex and TR Fort Max) have to remain in City Mode. To that end, I decided to have them as the basis for a couple of displays and potential Fanon sets.
TR Fort Max is the domain of the Wolfang mold variant (Wolfang, K-9, Max-B and Volfang)
Metroplex is that of the Cybershark variant mold (Cybershark, Sharp Edge, Hellscream, TM 2 Cybershark, RiD Sky-Byte, Generations Sky-Byte and BM Hammerstrike)
Trypticon is my most ambitious. Since my newest hunt for mold variants is ongoing, when it is completed, the City Mode will include: RTS Cyclonus, BM Jetstorm, RiD Storm Jet, RiD Jhiaxus, Universe Skywarp and Sonic Attack Jet. These, being my current purchases at time of writing.
After they are complete I'll be in pursuit of the last of my mold variants, to complete this display. I own this guy:

and I'm really fond of him. So I was quite pleased to discover he has redecos, although one of them is particularly challenging to source...

WFC Air Raid/Fireflight

And Botcon '14 Pirate Brimstone (the challenging one)
Once all are complete, pics will be inbound.

Well, this is surely an interesting discovery at my local Target:
Forget it's a swap, it's a relatively old one
When I saw it I was like, this isn't right, and "not found" upon scanning. The store should know about this, so I (*gasp*) asked an employee, she went to Customer Service, turns out to be an online return, and subsequently put a clearance price on it. Huh...
I'll let you know how poor Steelbane is later, but so far, the joints aren't that loose-goosey.

Man, someone(or multiple) have been doing swap returns in my area. I’ve seen skullitron in SS Sideswipe package and leader Dragonstorm in SS Grimlock package. At two different stores, but fairly close to each other. Also multiple times where a person returned some opened SS figures(crowbar, megaton, jetfire). I probably got lucky with my steelbane/skullitron figures as their joints aren’t floppy loose and I feel like they aren’t that bad

I've read on TFWiki that re-releases of the two seem to have tighter joints, so we lucked out I guess.

I'm surprised they would allow such an old online return, I would have thought there would be a time limit like on Amazon.

It could be several things, like a originally from a 3rd party seller via Target.com, an old return that was only recently found. Who knows?
On the side, I picked up the Siege Air Strike Patrol a month or two ago and only now opened them up. Visper has minor flash at the shin cavity, but eh.

I agree the prices are getting more expensive.
Except when Hasbro Pulse makes a pricing mistake and only charges $9.99 per Deluxe on their opening day!!!

So lucky - Ironhide and Sixgun are the bomb! Paid slightly above retail (
Probably the biggest haul of my entire life, everything pictured was from one day in the dealer room.
Probable Customs:
Devcon from Sweep 1
Fulcrum from Sweep 2, unless I track down the PCC stand in first
Exhaust from Wheeljack (mostly reprolabels)
Rotorstorm from Alpha Bravo
Sun storm from RiD Starscream
Ruckus from Off-road
Skyquake from Universe Silverbolt?
Viper Maximus from Powerglide?
Jallguar or Ironfist from CW Hound now that he has a replacement?
Rushing in where Hasbro fears to tread (for now)...
