Bought Movie age of extinction legion class hound last Thursday before seeing the new Avengers on opening week.
Unfortunately the discounts are over for some of the Transformers so he cost me 2499 instead 1900 (missed that discount by week)


Approximately 20 USD is ridiculous for 5 year old movie legion toy. Its the last time i shell out cash for it if i wasnt interested in his character and wanted affordable figure on my limited budget. (The deluxes are even worse going into skyhigh 5000 ISKR prices for 2016 RID deluxes that are still warming the pegs)

Made an odd eBay order. Energon Landquake, TR Ramhorn, and Armada Rhinox.

And here it is. First is the completed group of Horsemen. Woo! A surprisingly vicious looking bunch. I love them. The type of weird and obscure stuff I love.



And Landquake. (With Ramhorn hanging out with him) A very solid figure. Definitely looks like it's era, but it's pretty well articulated, the colors are very interesting, and the gimmick works well.

For once, I have a TF haul! From Mandarake.

This haul is a bit sad because the special Rusty Bug Bumblebee (at 3K yen!) was removed from my order because it was sold before I got my final shipping quote. Sigh...

Anyway, at least I finally got TLK Hotrod and that Beast Wars Neo Stampy bunny.



Hotrod was used and Stampy was new.
Hotrod was fun to figure out while transforming. Well, I did had the original AOE Lockdown once so that's kinda cheating. Stampy is a bit underwhelming. Too simple to transform and the rabbit can only stand up to look remotely good. At least the bot is nice and the gimmick is fun.



My Pullip Classical Alice finally have her rabbit companion! So that's at least that gained.



But man, did I overpaid for that bunny. Having known Rusty Bee would have been gimped out of my order, I would have just bought the Korean 2 pack off Ebay instead. Oh well. Win some, lose some...

And here it is. First is the completed group of Horsemen. Woo! A surprisingly vicious looking bunch. I love them. The type of weird and obscure stuff I love.

A very nice set of Beasts! They are an intimidating bunch.

I made a few bad decisions over the past week, so I am gonna have a jumbo amount of stuff coming in really soon, this week and next. I think you might find a few of the things to be interesting too, as a fan of the Beast era

I had a G1 Darkwing arrive today.

Kinda bummed about it, it's complete with Powermaster and guns, but it has a few VERY stiff joints and some rusty screws. It's going to be a restoration job that's for sure. Probably wouldn't be so bummed about it but I paid $100AUD for it.

Powermasters are pretty iffy and prone to breakage because of the gimmick. Those locking tabs can be as fragile as glass. Especially due to their age.

The Powermaster isn't the issue. One of the wings is stiff, not major, but there's dirt and rusty screws on it. I got the legs to pull down but now I can't get them to slide up, again, rusty screws. Everything else moves okay, but once again, rusty screws. If I replace them now then he'll be good for a while.

The only thing I can't fix is his shoulder, it looks like someone hit it with a Dremel, doesn't affect his completeness, just a bit of battle damage.

Ricochet was as expected, really please with the paint details. Big Powered is awesomeness and some really creative re-tooling. I'm also seriously loving the series 2 botbots. Grampiano and Drumbeats might be my new favorites.

Oooo! Nice haul! TM Scavenger is such a ridiculously gorgeous and great toy. He’s easily one of my favorite figures from any TF line. I was disappointed by Terragator when I first got him, but he’s really grown on me. I regard him much more highly now, than I did at first.

And I, too, pulled the trigger on a Rampage. I can’t wait for him to arrive!

Got SS38 BB Prime. The pictures really did took my eyes away from the legs which I did not realize were... not great. Still kuddis to Hasbro for trying to accomodate our fear of gaps. My main issue is that even when following the instructions, it feels like there is too much toy to contain in vehicle mode. And the head always pops off. The only image I took is this one in case I want to return the toy to amazon if I find a better/cheaper one locally.



Also got these for my 1.5 year old, he really likes that Blitzwing.

Found a random Titans Return Kup at the local salvage store for under $11. I passed on him initially because I already had the Legends version and Orion Pax, but for the price I don't mind another version.

Set one is complete! Courtesy of Transformerland, Sonic Attack Jet is on his way to me now. Plus Generations/FoC Air Raid too. So that will be the completion of the BM Jetstorm mold variants and 2/3 completion of the WFC Shockwave set... I imagine the wait for Pirate Hunter Brimstone might be a long one, in comparison.

It really confuses me that TM Terrorsaur was never redeco'd with a G1 Laserbeak colour palette? I mean, considering there is a Laserbeak redeco for the original Terrorsaur figure, you would have thought it a no-brainer? Especially given the "jet" mode couldn't look like more of a homage/re-imagining??

That actually is a little baffling. That deco would have made a lot of sense.

I’ve got a lot of love for all four of those BW figures. Those redecos have been on my want list for a little while, and I definitely plan on picking them up eventually. Nicknaming them The Four Horsemen is the gravy on top. I wish I’d thought of that.

Walmart FINALLY have the latest Siege deluxes, I could finally get Sixguns.



It bum me out to have to pay voyager prices for a deluxe but eh... At least my Metroplex is almost complete. Now all I have to find is that elusive official second tower gun.

6Guns himself is pretty rad for what he is. And Metroplex can be all "Soundwave and Lazerbeak" thanks to the 5mm hole on Metroplex's arm and the 5mm peg under 6Gun's ship mode.
