Mine arived today as well. He's pretty glorious, the torso transformation is so much better than PotP Prime's. Only real issue I had was the star is a real pain to snap in place, mine is constantly trying to fly off his chest thanks to unnecessary tension on the joint it connects to. Still, it's a great figure, worth the constant delays.

Packaging is a bit overdone, though. First you've got the black Hasbro box with large white print, then you've got a black and white slip cover from Takara Tomy which has all of the important information in English already, then you've got the standard Selects cardboard box. Just a little excessive.

Oh, and about my broken Revoltech Optimus Prime, apparently AmiAmi is sending me a replacement tire? :???:

Not sure how they plan on doing that since the tires are glued on and would have to be broken off. Hopefully they can just send me the leg instead.

Mine came yesterday as well. While I don’t have any issues with his chest piece, I fully agree on the packaging being a bit much. Overall, I’m quite happy with it.

My first and likely only MPM (unless they make a Soundwave) and I have to say I'm very impressed. It's like the grown-up version of the Studio Series Bee.

How are the MP really? i been thinking of just going nuts and just buying all of them i can. is it just better quality figure?

In general MP figures are more intricate/complex and tend to be more accurate to the source. Search the forums for threads on various MP figures or hit YouTube.

The matter of a MP figure being better is very subjective. Here are my thoughts on that Bee boi.

Bah, my Amazon sale Omega Supreme was supposed to come in today but UPS delayed it do to "weather or natural disaster". It's just a little rain, put on a hat! I've had UPS drivers walk several hundred feet through half a foot of snow down hill to my house because they didn't want to have to drive back up the hill to leave, but this guy doesn't want to get a little wet. :roll:

Anyway, today was my last chance to go to the local Kmart before they close for good Sunday. Picked up 12 series 3 BotBot blind packs for $1.20 each (about $15) so that was nice. Used a code list to make sure I didn't get any duplicates, but they had two fresh display cases worth so I didn't have to search much to find unique ones. Wish I had noticed the Christmas tree was on the list, I would have looked for that one, but at least I got some of the other ones I really wanted.

And i managed to break Bee. Nothing serious, one of the tiny, tiny little tabs that hooks the rear wheel arch to the door broke off when i ran my finger against it. Must have cracked when i unhooked it.

Ah sweet, are you going to complete the BAF? That and the improved quality of this line is becoming very tempting. I wish the Gen or SS line would toss some of that sweet BAF lagniappe our way.

Definitely gonna get BAF. What I like best of Transformers is the Transformation part and since these are not G1 redos with articulation, there is more freedom to create new transformations we didn't see before. That's definitely the case with megatron so far and I am looking forward to the others.

As for the BAF idea, I preffer not having it be part of generations or other more collector oriented lines. It has gotten out of hand in marvel legends, where it isnt a bonus and instead will reflect the price (like having the bigger component of the BAF be with a much smaller figure where the BAF is practically the main thing in the box) and it will have the BAF be a key character rather than a bonus (or much larger figure). Having Thanos be the BAF for BOTH the infinity war AND endgame lines felt like a huge FU. I just really want to keep the more bonus aspect, which the TF lines have done so far with the 4 BAFs we have gotten.

Ditto, with the bot mode looking good on shelf being a close second. That is why the Cyberverse line is starting to get so tempting, I just want fun to transform figures (doesn't hurt they also look good).

Ah, I did not know that about the Marvel BAF. I'm completely out of the loop on Marvel figures. I wouldn't like it if it detracts form the core figure. Just extend the line by one more and I'll pay full price. Thanks for the info/heads up.
