Got Soundbarrier in from Amazon the other day. He's a bot with a ramp on his back, nothing exciting. Sort of reminds me of the old Blockman figures (which are pretty cool, I've got a couple of the dark blue ones). Though having him in hand I can't help but notice a few similarities between him and Saber (the core of Star Saber), especially the arms and head. Wouldn't take anything to slap jet parts on his back instead of a ramp and give him knees that fold forward to make Star Saber's chest.

Robot Masters Saber:

Doubt it'll happen, but also doubt it was a happy coincidence they look so much alike.

Also finally made it to the post officie to pick up MP Lio Convoy. Really trying to avoid going out and sanitized my hands after using their signing device. You'd think they'd be providing hand sanitizer right there considering how much stuff you end up touching, but I guess the government isn't willing to pay for it, but supermarkets are.

Had to also go to Walmart against my better judgment because the grocery store was out of carrots. Picked up a Studio Series Scavenger while I was there. Box has some surprising heft to it, looking forward to opening him tonight. Just Scrapper, Overload, and Skipjack left and they're already ordered.

Got SS WW1 Hot Rod because of the 20$CAN special Walmart sale.
I prefer his color contrary to the Pukerbee. But he's not fun to transform because how fiddly all his panels are.
Oh well, at least I didn't paid full price.

Wednesday's haul was SS Grimlock, Roadbuster and Jet Shatter. Impressed with the first two, but can't help but dislike Shatter. Too bulky in the back. Also got ER Grapple and Wheeljack, Grapple being my favourite of the whole haul.

Today I got Siege Starscream and Crosshairs for £12 a pop thanks to a deal. Not too impressed but thats why I didn't pay full price!

Went grocery shopping at 2 different targets yesterday and today and decided to treat myself and my youngest to some new toys for the stay at home order my area is currently in. Tale of 2 stores, something old and something new.

The target near my work had the wave 5 botbots 8 packs and SS Soundwave. The one near my house had SS Bonecrusher and KSI Sentry.

Had BBTS ship my small pile of loot about a week and a half ago. Showed up on Friday. Happy to finally have the holes on my two WfC/FoC shelves filled in.

I’m well aware that the FoC toys are lack luster, smallish, and light for their time, but I adore the games and the characters designs, and I was getting real sick of looking at the holes in my collection. After getting a ridiculous awesome deal last year on Takara Starscream, Skywarp, and Thundercracker and seeing the difference that Takara’s premium paint jobs have on the figures, I opted to go for Takara’s over Hasbro’s.

Sideswipe’s metallic red paint looks sexy as all get out. Kickback is just plain awesome. And I’m satisfied enough with Onslaught that I don’t feel the need to track down the other Combaticons. Especially since I wouldn’t display them as Bruticus, even if I had them.

I also got 35th Ann. Bluestreak and Soundblaster on sale from Walmart’s website. I got Bluestreak, but instead of Soundblaster they sent me baby formula? Sent it back, but still haven’t got a shipping notice for SB yet.

Very nice! I have several of the FOC toys and still enjoy them. Kickback will remain my generations Kickback, I enjoy that toy a lot.

I have Jazz but no Sideswipe, kind of regret not getting him either. I didn't get any of the combaticons but i did get the wreckers versions, those are pretty cool!

It's ridiculous how much better these figures are just from having a better coat of paint. They aren't great molds by any means, but they sure LOOK good on a shelf.

Finally SS Shockwave popped up where I live, I haven't seen him around here until now. He wasn't even on the shelf at Wal-Mart, he was stuck up top with the extras of the other stock that's already on the shelves. But I picked him up, and as soon as I saw him gleaming inside the box, I decided he must be mine! And now he is. :-D

So I got in touch with Hasbro about my Siege Chromia with the broken panties. They said they'd replace it with a figure of equal value. I was hoping for a new Chromia but after thinking about how crap she is I started hoping for something else. I got my wish and Hasbro sent Sixgun instead! I missed out on getting him so this makes me very happy!

Managed to get a little spending money recently, and a deal came up that was too good for me to pass on.

I got Energon Optimus' digger and copter drones for $10 shipped. Now I just need the firetruck drone. (And his Super Mode hat, and his windshield halves. But still)

Of all the SS figures I own, he's the best looking, by far.
