Went to Walmart yesterday for emergency supplies.
I decided to feel a bit better by indulging in some plastic crack, even if I have to pay full price.

So I got myself ER Wheeljack. He's pretty nice. The most "G1" modern bot so far in his blockyness. I find genius that his silver wings are made out of his car spoiler. I also live his transformation who is an hybrid between Combiner Wars and the G1 original. Only flaw us that damn tiny windshield part that keep popping off.

For now it's the best Generations Wheeljack.

Same here, I got the new netflix figures. But the real fun was getting Redwing in the mail. FINALLY!!!!!!!!

Got my Earthrise Ratbat and Rumble. They arrived basically on time despite shipping from China. Cost $20 after tax and free shipping. I wasn't going to find them anywhere over here so I payed the extra $10. Can't say I've ever had a package ship like this before, it's just blocks of styrofoam wrapped in orange tape, the shipping company is called Orange Connex so I guess that makes sense. Now I'm really looking forward to the Selects set!

I've gotten quite a few packages from China shipped the exact same way. You have to basically excavate the items.

According to tracking, my set is supposed to arrive tomorrow. I'll make sure to update how it was shipped.

My FoMo markup was just a little bit less.

It is! Who knew the day would come when we'd be smuggling rare Transformers inside blocks of cocaine? I mean look at this collection of Titans Return Deluxe wave 5!

But seriously I'm completely fine with the price. I would have been happier paying $10, but I figure most places online would have been more anyway even if they got normal stock of them and still charge me to ship. BBTS probably would have been closer to $16 after tax and shipping. Plus Rumble ended up being a much better figure than expected so I'm happy.

Took a chance (in more ways than one these days) and went to Target to see if I could make use of the 25% off app coupon. At first I didn't see anything, mostly stuff I already had. Noticed at first what I thought was two Studio Series Scavengers (have it) laying down face up on the shelf but then noticed the one underneath said Shockwave on it. Reflexively I thought, not another Siege Shockwave, but then realized it was a SS box. So yeah, that was a nice score, got a SS Shockwave for under $40. They also had ER Voyagers and Micromasters, SS Mixmaster, Siege wave 5 (just a Crosshairs and rereleases) and surprisingly a few Rungs. Haven't seen the shelves this well stocked (especially during a sale) in a long time, shame it took a pandemic for it to happen.

My dealer seems to be a little more sensible when it comes to shipping.

Feels good to final have these bots secured, even with the FoMo markup. Now I fully expect them to come in stock at BBTS and TJ Maxx :BANG_HEAD:

Finally got my SIEGE Apeface in the mail today.

On the subject of the orange-wrapped styrofoam... It's basically a way of creating custom-fit styrofoam insulation for the actual box from regular styrofoam sheets.

Airhammer is a fantastic figure. He (sort of) even got a cameo in Cyberverse. I love that he only has the shark jaws on his arm instead of the whole head which would have thrown off his balance. Only thing I would have changed is giving him articulated wings like Airrazor, at least let them open.

Wait for the inevitable 4th party, oversized remake.
I could not.
I admit I have a problem.
.... Oh, well!

THIS IS A BRILLIANT FIGURE!
As much as I love my Siege OP,
AND his 4th Party knock-off,
THIS GUY ROCKS!

Only problems:
1) too small
2) trailer, though neat-o, seems to be lacking.
. a) the armature is too short.
. b) the waste of space. Spade that needs filling with weaponry and such.
. c) the whole thing is to small. Nobody fits except Cliff & PROWL.
. d) ROLLER! All that $ and no Roller!? Weak sauce.

Still, like it mucho!

Fun fact: Lunar Fire Prime's big red gun can be used for DoTM leader Sentinel.

Same here. Expected Wednesday, but they were sitting on the porch today along with MP-19+ Smokescreen. Still think it's weird that they can't be bothered to put the name of the character on the boxes, just their release number.
