He's fun, but IMO he doesn't do nearly enough to improve on the Voyager version's articulation (and in at least one way, he's actually more restricted), and the hands really make him look cheap and lazy next to other Supreme-class toys.

I'll say this for Runamuck: While still plagued by hood-hands and sideways knees... his deco, protruding engine, and headsculpt make the mold look way better than Side Swipe's deco and Protoype Punch headsculpt did.

Got another Walmart G1 Bumblebee that I will keep sealed on card. Maybe their last ever at my local store. Got it on clearance at 10$CAN instead of 15$CAN.

Better than nothing I guess.

Animated Soundwave is amazing! That Prime is okayish but at least he's not made out of gold plastics like poor Starscream.

Scan the other toys. While the Siege voyagers had a sticker of 29.99, they scanned at 5$!!!!!

The micromasters were 3$ and the battle masters were 1$.

Siege Deluxes were still 19.99 though.

The craziest deal was a whole playmobile set for only 3$. I think with Walmart not able to dump their stock at winners/TKMaxx, they are offering those same wholesale dump prices to their own consumers.

That may be why Siege leaders were at 39$CAN for a while. Too bad my local Walmart barely have any Siege stuff left and toy hunting in these current times is now a real hassle.

I wouldn't mind a 5$ Siege Springer. At least I managed to get a spare Magnus and Shockwave and got myself Astrotrain, all at 39$CAN. I'll check back again in a week or so when I'll go for groceries again. Maybe with any luck, they'll have a surprise restock and on "secret sale" again. :-?

Oh, and I wouldn't count of this year's Montreal Comiccon to ever happen.

Found this guy at Walmart while getting groceries yesterday. Man, what an excellent figure. This may end up being my favorite out of the entire studio series line.

Jetter is a fun one, and Roadbuster is a bit pain in attempting to get a decent action pose. I'm sorry to say that despite their awesome sculpts and detailing they have less articulation than previous Studio Series releases.
You know, as a kid I never made the connection between the G1 Sideswipe toy my brother passed down to me and the characters in the Beast Wars show on TV, until Michael Bay had Sideswipe as a Corvette.

Am I correct to guess you got the 3 SS deluxe from Hasbro Pulse? If so, when did you order? I remember you are very close to the warehouse and pretty much get them the day the ship. I'm trying to guess their delay between ordering and shipping.

You would actually be incorrect in this case, all 3 were found in store today. I am very close, I usually get my stuff the day after I get a shipping notice.

I pre-ordered mine, and it was about 4-ish days for Shatter to arrive, and the next day Roadbuster arrived.

I stsrted to notice that with Soundwave. Pretty crazy how the deluxe Cyberverse toys are now more articulated than the deluxe SS toys.

That's disappointing, be sure to let Hasbro hear about it via their website.

How does the 2011 Topspin compare articulation-wise?

Honestly surprised by what you all are saying regarding the articulation, it has been consistent since the start of the line, it isn't anything new. and it is still far and away adequate. AT least the new Shatter also has better legs that actually will pose, unlike her muscle car form.

Cyberverse is more articulated, but it doesn't matter too much, said articulation is pretty much what I consider "bonus articulation" for Transformers, at least that's what i've been used to for almost my entire collecting time.

if anything, Siege/Earthrise has now spoiled us. Otherwise these comments would probably not be made

:-? Topspin (Blue) or Roadbuster (Green)? :-?

I'd have to find the both of 'em in the one storage/moving-with-no-shelf-space-for-'em box to have them side by side. I just remember the 2011 guys being difficult to stand, and both Roadbuster's and Topspin's missile launchers/shoulder pieces were floppy and prone to popping off.

I haven't bought any Cyberverse or Earthrise figures, so I can't voice an opinion there, and I only have 8 Siege figures and only four of them are Siege molds. I also tend to collect based on character in media, toy sculpting/detailing, price, and engineering so even less of a leg to stand on there as well.

Jet Shatter is a vast improvement over her previous mold. She does have some questionable engineering in how an ankle tilt is made impossible by how her ankles and feet are molded to lock into place on her tail fins. I can understand if it was for stability, but it isn't needed.

Roadbuster is more of the issue here, and a good part of that can be left to the character design that while it looks good is kind of impossible without any kibble. I will give the Studio Series credit as it has more arm and leg articulation than the original, and has a normal amount. Roadbuster just has more kibble than Jazz or VW Bee that directly interfere with articulation, if his cape/coat/shell(?) could have been compressed a bit more pulling the bottom edge up maybe an inch, even if it sacrificed his side view, he would feel less like a shellformer, or less like the 9 yr old version.
