the one I got originally was advertised as genuine too, but then was the KO (could tell from the mentioned tampos on the trunk lid and spoiler areas). it also had much weaker shoulder joints than my official one.

Hopefully you got the real thing though!

Mine has POLICE written on the spoiler but it isn't moulded on there, but there isn't any moulding for it anywhere else either just the paint. Shoulders are a little weak but nothing terrible. Seems alright to me, so as I say even if it turns out to be a KO it works well enough for me!

Sounds like you got a good one then, the KO would be very obvious on the back of the car with 2 different police notes written!

Just double checked in between work tasks, and yes the "POLICE" tampo and molding should be on the spoiler, and not on the trunk lid.

Actually, same guy I got Wreck Gar from, Blackarachnia went up the next day, and he showed me all the Animated guys he was selling and I scooped up Sentinel too. worked out pretty dang well, averaged out to less than retail for all 3 from him

More likely they took cues from IDW; he's someone who's sincerely going to whatever extremes he feels are necessary for what he sees as the greater good, not a fragile-ego'd Frank Burns-style comedic bungler the way Animated Sentinel is.

Well, then it would be the other way around, IDW taking a cue from Bayverse. DoTM came out before Titans Return. Unless IDW Sentinel was around before and I just didn't see him?

And yes, Animated Sentinel is the embodiment of d-baggery. It had been a while since I despised a character as much as I did him when I watched Animated.

I scooped up Jet Shatter and Jeep Bee at 25% last night! Shat is an absolute gem of a figure, everything tabs and fits together super securely. Tossed her up on a figma stand for some aerial poses and MAN could not be happier. Looking forward to cracking open Bee in the next few days

I once had Alternators Jazz. He was nice but came with a cracked hood. I bought the Reprolabels set and made him more "G1" but it wasn't great. After some years I sold him.

More years later, I came across a Canadian Ebay listing for a Binaltech Jazz. I bid and won. If Alternators Jazz was not good for my Jazz collection, the full die-cast Binaltech will do. Came with everything for just 40.70$CAN shipped!



Most of the car's exterior is made of metal so it feel cold to the touch all over. Very nice.

However, things fall appart when transforming him and putting him in robot mode. Man, does this mold is outdated! Still, it have it's charm and is well worth being in the front row.

Can't say I've ever had that problem with my Mirage, Fracture, or Drag Strip. Or at least no more so than the rest of the figure.

For my own hauls I've been getting stuff most of the week. Tuesday I finally got Siege Crosshairs and Spinister in from Amazon to complete the retail releases (for exclusives I just need the Netflix line and Takara Tomy Nemesis Prime to complete that). I was waiting for a good price drop, but got a little anxious when they only knocked a few cents off fearing that might mean a lower stock.

Wednesday I got a box in from eBay. I explained in the CW appreciation thread that after seeing how ridiculous prices were getting on Amazon and eBay, especially for Deluxe Protectobots that are being listed for $100+ each, I decided to catch up on my missing CW figures. First to come in is a box from an eBay seller containing loose CW Ironhide, Prowl, Sunstreaker, and Smokescreen. I wasn't going to get them originally at the time, but then I got the UW Lynxmaster set (which replaces Smokescreen from the CW set with Ratchet) a year later and had intended to go back and pick up these Autobots, but never got around to it. Never really cared for unconvincingly sticking these characters into bodies that didn't suit them. For the most part these figures are fine, Smokescreen is really loose but that might be a late molding issue since Prowl is fine, Sunstreaker has the same weird hip issues that his mold mates have but he only cost $20 and will be spending most of his time as an arm or leg anyway. All came complete (even included instruction books) and had no visible damage or paint issues.

Thursday morning I hit Walmart at opening (after enjoying a free McDonald's breakfast after work, if you're a healthcare worker/first responder go get your free meal, you deserve it!) and got the two G1 reissue tape sets on clearance for $11 each. I already picked these up on clearance the first time around back in January, but I kept those sets sealed and will probably open this set even though they're basically the same as every other version of these characters I already have. Also, another eBay order came in, CW Mirage to complete the wave 4 Autobots. Haven't decided yet if I'm sticking these Autobots with regular CW Optimus or Battle Core Optimus, probably the latter. Smokescreen will likely end up with Inferno.

Another big CW order should be coming Friday.

Well, on both my Classics Mirages the spoiler halves flop around so freely you'd think they were tied on by string.

Bought the Air Assault Battlemaster team at last (Stormcloud and Visper). They look great but their back weight is a big issue like with the autobot Race Patrol (Roadhandler and Swindler)

With the market six stores closed in my area, Walmart had to do the liquidation in house for the TF toys.
Picked up Magnus for 6.30$ (9$ Canadian) and Thundercracker for 3.50$ (5$ Canadian).
