Really wish I had picked up Cybertron Wing Saber back in the day (and Leobreaker). At least I got Energon Wing Saber (and a pair of Leo Primes).

So I got another box of Combiner Wars stuff in the mail, this time from Transformerland.com. Photos on my new dinning room table with Walmart paper bags playing the role of a backdrop to hide all the recycling and Goodwill donations I've built up cleaning.

Never dealt with them before but I've heard good things. Wasn't crazy about the packing, everything was floating around inside a big zip lock bag. Looks like they must bring these bags to conventions (there was a price tag on it that was quite a bit lower than what I paid) which isn't great for the condition of the figures even though there was packing paper filling out the rest of the box. Everything was mostly fine, but one of Hot Spot's tires had fallen off (easily fixed) and one of Blades' blades has a stress mark at the base. Still, I paid roughly the same for the set as what MOC Protectobots go for on Amazon so it's fine. Also grabbed a complete Deluxe Groove for $20, I'll be sending Rook over to PotP Inferno.

And just because it was there, threw in a RID Windblade because I like the mold (already have the Adventures version and the RID masked version) and it was only $12. Now I need to find the SDCC TR version of this mold for a good price.

And here's a group shot of everything I've bought this week (except for the reissue tapes).

Can't believe I ended up with the Dead End/Streetwise mold three times this week to go with my seven other uses of it.

I love that mold, so much so that I also have 7 versions of just the Prowl mold: Both UW and CW Prowl, UW and CW Streetwise, CW Lightspeed, CW Smokescreen and CW Blue Streak. And I don't use any of them as combiner limbs. I would like to get the yellow Botcon version as well, but the price is insane.

My CW Wildrider is actually a repainted Smokescreen with the lightbar cut off and a WIP kitbashed head.

Congrats on the hauls, Emerje.

Went to Walmart. Not as much success as Will though.

Still, the Micromasters were on "stealth clearance" at 3$can a set instead of 13$can. I already have the jets and army sets so they'll go in storage for future trading. The cars set and ER Ironworks will be the crew for my upcoming Siege Omega Supreme.

Yeah, though it had a price tag on it from the convention circuit for $85, can't believe nobody snapped them up at that price. I'm guessing they haven't hauled it around with them for a while.

The prices for Transformerland at conventions is pretty good. It wasn't until the Joyride I bought that I found one of those complete for a cheaper price than i saw it at TFcon, and I got a Leader Optimus from the 2007 movie for $20 from them.

More people need to see them at conventions, cheaper prices, and they are willing to deal!

Finally got myself a standalone Dead End figure, and he even came with some Botbots!

He also came with a HFG, but he came with Dragstrip's. Funny enough, I have a Dragstrip on Megascream that didn't have a HFG, so this works out nicely!

In a word: Cyberverse.

Dead End became a favorite of mine thanks to that show, with his dour mood and subtle respect for Perceptor, plus him just being a jerk and his interactions with Astrotrain. Everything about him was just super fun and I came to finally love a con combiner component by himself, much along the lines of First Aid for the Protectobots.

I got his Cyberverse toy, but it's a scout, half transformer, so I wanted a proper Dead End, and the show model was created using the CW toy as a heavy reference, so it mostly works minus the head (I wish a toy would make use of his face, not just the mask).

D Maximal, Nice haul! You will love that Oilslick.

On my end, I went hunting to a Walmart that is not on my usual way thanks to a lift from work by a friend.

The Siege Targetmasters were on "stealth sale" at only 1$CAN each! So I took the 3 I missed and bought doubles for future trades/sales.

And then, I saw a lone box of NETFLIX Hotlink and a NETFLIX Megatron.

Well, "Ne jamais dire fontaine je ne boira pas de ton eau."

So I took sexy, sexy Hotlink as well.

15880242876072511325572020278211.jpg

My friend took NETFLIX Megatron and 4 targetmasters.

The Netflix set are still overpriced, but the 1$can targetmasters (instead of 8$can) compensate more than enough.

I advertised for a few weeks I was looking

I got this guy for a pretty dang good price too, including the tossed in for fun botbots from a Twitter friend. Plus, it is nice to know that he can still properly combine for the fun of it.

I also don't think i really appreciated how good the original Dead End was. I just combined him into Menasor right away, and didn't really have a connection to any of the guys from that combiner. It's a lot different now

Nice! I saw both Sentinel and Scrapper today grabbing groceries, but Sentinel has shipped from Target and Scrapper is pending, so it was the hard decision to pass them up. I really wanted to grab them though
