Omg, this guy is incredible! I think he wins for best vehicle mode ever. I am so happy to finally have gotten him 100% complete and in almost new condition! Imo, I think he even holds up to today's toys since he has a ton of articulation for his age! He is quickly becoming one of my favorite transformers I now own.

As someone else who just got this figure, it is really good. I love him! The energon Brute mode figures are strong!

FINALLY, my Canadian eBay purchase came in.

Universe Ultra Silverbolt and Powerglide.

I never had the white Powerglide before. He's a neat mold. As for Silverbolt, it's a double. At least I now have it complete with missile and the spare will be used as custom fodder. I have a crazy idea in mind...

Come on, don't go "ist".
But know what? My friend, who is very adamant about undercarriage for planeforemers pointed that out to me some weeks ago! Then I finally saw it too. And man, did I laughed!

I had the black/purple version of this Powerglide so I just traded it to my friend for pizza (a convenient excuse so that he can have the mold). I love that Poweglide despite his top heaviness.

But now that a second person have pointed this R63 out, I need to hunt down yet another Universe Powerglide so that I can make one more crazy Frankenstein custom. I plan to change the head of course. I'll also change the legs and the plane front section completely. To be a proper female, she need THICC legs to go with that big chest. This will turn the plane into some sort of spaceship. Now the difficulty is to find Transformers legs with big thighs and small lower legs. It will be difficult because the rule is micro thighs and huge lower legs... Unless...

Well, guess that Powerglide will be on the sacrificial altar for the Cause and I'll just find another one later! :twisted:

It was my birthday yesterday, so I opened my package I ordered from Mandarake. The main event was not TF related, but I did get these little fellas...

I love 'em. Really fun, simple little toys, and almost makes me want an Armada Cyclonus to go with them.

Absolutely! They really are great. And a childhood dream (albeit a small one) come true- I saw the Road Wrecker versions once as a kid but didn't have the money for them, so getting them now was very satisfying.

Nice haul. The early not-on-screen movie bots really had some fun gimmicks. I love Dropkicks truck bed sized leatherman tool and especially Payload's spring loaded chest grabber thingy.

Yeah that Bludgeon is still with my G1 collection, he was made well. If that turret was removable in bot mode, it would be near perfect. I wonder if we'll get an update of him in WFC.

Got Masterpiece Blackarachnia today! The packaging was smashed somewhere between China and here, but she seems unscathed. Her tight ankles make me nervous, so I might not put her in beast mode again. That's fine though, her robot mode is the best part.

I really don't care about the box. I mean I like keeping the Masterpiece figure boxes, but I also don't know what to do with them because my four (now five) masterpiece figures are all on shelves and the boxes are kinda just sitting by my desk. I mean, except for MP01. that box got tossed years ago. So while it sucks, I'm not bothered enough to ask for some money back. It's just a box. It's the figure inside that I was worried about. Thankfully there's no damage to her. I had to file down some bit of her ankles so that they weren't so tight, but I didn't want to do too much because taking a file to a figure that cost so much just felt like a bad idea.

Yeah, once you remove the excess there's no putting it back on. Hopefully the ankle joint is sturdy enough to support the rest of her with all the accessories. If you don't care about the box then no big deal, I guess. I just know sometimes the boxes are made real fancy and figure into the overall price more than they should.

I made a mistake of going on ebay... I've now got RiD 2001 Optimus Prime and Ultra Magnus coming my way, from the photos, looks like all that's missing is op little gun, um missile launchers and all missiles. Paid £14.99 so I don't think it's too bad a deal.

Now I want Rid Megs, but I missed him sadly

Speaking of Ebay, I just scored an Heikei Silverbolt for 10$CAN. 100% complete. No one wanted it. Even when adding the 14.75$CAN of shipping, it's still a steal.

Now I'll have 3 Classic Silverbolts. 2 Hasbro and one Takara. I'll have the Hasbro and Takara side-by-side, and I'll make a custom using my spare Hasbro. I have the ambition to make the jet back-pack completely removable and re-attachable without scarifying the electronics. It will be fun to do!

Canadian shipping is damn freaky expensive. At least at 15$, it's supposed to be "expedited".
We will see because right now, Canada Posts are in COVID mode, meaning half brain-dead, half obsessive-compulsive. That package may take weeks to arrive. #-o

Speaking of deals, I finally decided to get myself MPM Megatron. Toys R Us wont ship it in Quebec because of "muh French laws". So I went to Amazon.JP instead. Check out this mad deal:

That's 160$CAN total, including taxes deposit and shipping! :shock:

Just for comparison, the normal price for MPM Megs is 250$CAN at TrU. Add 40$CAN for SS Bonecrusher. Then, DOUBLE taxes because Quebec for a total of around 333$CAN with free shipping. That is, if I was allowed to order Megs in the first place.

You should. And the best deals are for preorders. Madness compared to 3P Canadian sellers.

Also, I don't know what kind of witchcraft Amazon.JP did, but they use DHL shipping. See the price above? That's CHEAPER than EMS. And if I'd order the same thing at Mandarake, the DHL shipping would have cost at least 3 or 4 times that!

As for the taxes, Amazon only charge the first Canadian tax. That's 5%. This make my Amazon order customs proof. By Mandarake, they would not charge taxes in advance, but customs would hit like a sledgehammer. 5% federal taxes, plus 9.975% provincial Quebec taxes (charged on the price of the item PLUS the federal tax, meaning Quebec charge taxes on the federal tax!!!!) plus 15$CAN of handling fees.

So, yeah, Amazon.JP is definitely my new source to get Transformers. :BOWDOWN:
