All right, time for the haul!

Today I went to my local Toys R Us that is finally allowed to open. They have changed the store into a rat-maze and you have to push a shopping basket to force social distancing, not counting the mandatory hand sanitizer at the entrance.
This virus psychosis is getting on my nerves. :BOOM:

Still, it was a worthwhile trip because I finally succeeded in grabbing Siege Spinister and Earthrise Optimus Prime. Spinister is marvelous and Optimus, despite being a 80$CAN "voyager" is basically a shrunk down MASTERPIECE. Seriously, he's well worth the money.

But the real draw is the third party figure. But I won't cheat too much and point out to the RIGHT THREAD.

Went to my very own local treasure trove, my beloved independent geek store, Geek Stuff today. And man, WHAT A SCORE!

Pretender Skyhammer is 100% complete but only have one foot suffering from GPS. As for Armada Predacon, he's 100% complete and in perfect condition too.

So, what did I pay you may ask?

In CANADIAN dollars.

I'm so glad my local geek store is allowed to be reopened because I'm on a roll!

My latest haul! I finally got a complete Energon Constructicon Maximus! I have wanted this combiner since I got steamhammer back in 2005.

I also finally decided to get the currently available cyberverse deluxes. They are pretty good and there blast effects are the same as siege! After watching season 3 yesterday, I do have more appreciation for these guys. If you have not seen season 3, go watch all 26 episodes now. It is what I wanted titans return to be! I can not wait to get the rest and complete my Thew transformer figure!

Myself my NetFlix spoiler set arrived. Box was a little crushed, shame because it is a nice box. If they can't do something with a nice mural on it like the combiner box sets, Commanders, and Titans, then I would prefer something ridiculous like this. Figures are nice, colors are good, I think I actually prefer the dirty look to the damaged look with silver paint all over them. Good stuff, not disappointed, though it might have been even nicer for $35.

Ready for this monster haul?

I went to a friend's today, and he was emptying out his storage unit, with insanely cheap prices (friends and all, plus the ENORMITY of his stored collection). I picked up and cleaned out.

First up, Energon Cliffjumper, Ironhide, Rodimus, and Quickstrike, with Armada Wheeljack, Skyboom Shield repaint team, and Dark Saber present. Also Armada Rhinox, and bonus Minicon missile launcher.

Up next, Cybertron Menasor, Galaxy Force Hot Shot, Dirt Boss, Scattorshot, and Leobreaker, and bonus minicon in addition to Menasors.

On movie related items, we have Leader Brawl, Tomahawk, Stockade, Depthcharge, Hailstorm, and Dispensor!

And finally, Alternity Skywarp, Takara First Edition Bulkhead, and after Burn's article about Rumble, Alternators Rumble!

It may surprise you, but it's was his usual prices for these figures even before the lockdown. Maybe not for Skyhammer that he increased his price from 80$CAN to 150$CAN (I think) for a year or so after he sold most of his Pretenders and noticed he sold most of them between 50% to 25% the going rates. But his Skyhammer remain unsold so his price went back to the original 80$CAN.
I also just got a complete Beast Wars Transmetal Rampage for 45$CAN from him. Many other things he sell are of the "accurate price" and many others are actually overpriced. You just have to have sharp hunter instincts when shopping there!

That was one hell of a stoke of luck! Congrats on scoring an Energon army for cheap! Those are derpy but very fun figures. Also, if that Cybertron Menasor is complete with minicon and key, that's amazing! Especially because the current going rates for this Guy on Ebay are absolutely insane, even for a naked one.

Everything in my haul was complete, including instructions and cards!

Best part was the price of the entire haul. Let's just say that that Takara FE Bulkhead is probably worth what i spent overall

Me and my friend decided to take the plunge and go all out in importing the Transformers Legends Unite Warriors Bruticus for me, and Megatronia for him.
At Mandarake, my Bruticus was used and 10K yen while Megatronia was new and 15K yen.

We could have waited forever if we went for normal EMS postage. We would also had avoided the custom fees. (I sill have 2 boxes in Japan Post limbo).
So we went with DHL. Unfortunately, Mandarake don't have the Amazon deal. So it was 12K yen in shipping alone plus an extra 60$CAN in taxes. This make the most expensive combiners ever for the both of us.

I bought those two "new" cyberverse deluxes as well. I am rather let down by both of them, especially Hot Rod. Very restrictive articulation on that one and the plastic feels super cheap.

Eh, insurance is cheap and said car is going to spend most of its life as a hauler for my doggos(~170+lbs between two dogs).

As for the weapon combination, I just wanted to have him hold all of his weapons since I'm still deciding if I want to use tackle boxes to store all the weapons in an organized fashion or just use the boxes as I have been.
