Ah yes, Alternity Megatron. I used to have him and the silver Optimus, until one day I got pissed about transforming him (he's very fiddly) and in a fit of rage knocked him off the desk. Chipped his door and broke off the side mirror.

Oh wow, that's a bummer.
He isn't too bad! I like him more than Skywarp, he is much more solid, and i love the samurai armor look. I also am a huge fan of the colors on this one, he's just super cool.
I'm feeling more OK with getting into this Alternity stuff, it's not too shabby! 2/16(or 20 or 21) Alternity down

Yeah I felt like an ass immediately afterwards. He is a nice piece, I love that shiny black paint. I tried getting into Alternity, but it just kinda fizzled out. Now I wish I had stuck with it, they're all great figures. I still want that GT-R Maximus, if I ever get one.

I feel your pain guys. I have the Alternity red Convoy and silver Megatron for my "small leader shelf" that has the Deluxe Prime and Megatrons. Convoy has a locking mechanism seemingly broken somewhere (it does hold the head up in robot mode, the panel is just really loose), while Megatron has a broken tail light when I accidentally sat on him... Hey, I was in the middle of moving house back then, and my mind was everywhere but there.
Thankfully the tail lights use regular screws, all I need is a junker.

For him to be TRULY complete, he need a few labels:
http://toyhax.com/for-classics/952-labe ... &results=2
Oof… This set is unfortunately out of print. This mean you can still order it, but it's 2 or 3 times the original price.
I had that Megs fully labelled, but I shouldn't have sold him.

Went to one of my local Walmarts for the first time in over a month because I usually go to the Sam's behind it first and then don't want to stand in line to spend more money. This time I went to Walmart first and waited an hour to get in. Really only went in for bananas.
Transformers section was surprisingly well stocked, no big display, but finally saw ER Deluxe for the first time in person, but I was more interested in checking the NetFlix stuff. Found two Scrapfaces on the pegs, there might have been more, but I bought the first two I saw. They'll be going with the other two that should be coming from Walmart.com this week (along with all of the other NF stuff).

Derp, should have said I had one coming. Had two on the brain because I bought the two and then canceled two I ordered on AmiAmi just in case I couldn't find them in stores.

Got a Energon Megatron in the mail today. I believe he is 100% complete, even with box, comic, and all other papers! With this figure, I now have my two definitive Optimus Prime and Megatron. Movie-verse is my favorite transformers and Energon was first TF show I watched (I was 4 or 5 and it really made an impression on me). I am so happy to have these now.
Also got some marvel legends for the BAF, but that is meant for a different group I am just to lazy to take separate pictures.

After almost two months in governmental post services limbo, one of my two long awaited Mandarake package have finally arrived.

Main purchase was the two Little Pullips dolls, but I needed a tag-along to make the shipping worthwhile. United Wheeljack was chosen because I sold my old Hasbro one some years back and it was only 2000 yen brand new. OMG WHEELJACK'S PACKAGING IS DAMAGED, WHAT WILL I DO?! Mandarake, guess what? Packagings are meant for the recycling box.
Forgot to remove the packaging "rubber bands" here, but I love that vehicle mode with that extra shiny Takara paint job compared to the plain Hasbro.

I remember being frustrated by his transformation back in the days, but now I'm absolutely impressed by all the neat little tricks this mold offer.

Compared to the now available in stores Earthrise Wheeljack, United/Generations Wheeljack is much more BEEFIER than the newest one. Sure, Earthrise Wheeljack is like a "mini masterpiece", but the old United look like Wheeljack have hit the gym with amazing results! This Wheeljack can LIFT compared to the skinny Earthrise.
Or is the United just fat?

TlDr; Best Mandarake tag-along ever.
Now if only that other box could leave Toronto, for fox's sake.

Congrats on the hauls!
I have the Hasbro version of that Wheeljack. I have to say, it makes ER Wheeljack a decidedly back-burner figure for me. Especially since the C-joint system makes the older Wheeljack able to use the G1 toy's launchers.

G1 compatible? Man, that's sweet! It means the opposite is true too and we could give G1 Wheeljack the weapons of the classic one.
Noice.
I'll have to ask my friend to bring over his old naked G1 Wheeljack so that I can try it out.

I won this guy is a free spin game in a gaming Facebook page, super stoked to have a Seacon! He'll stand separate from my other 6 seacons once they arrive, he's gonna be my Battle Core Prime's buddy.
And he'll be the start of a team built up from exclusive figures to form a sweet Prime combiner. Not sure when I'll finish the team, but they'll all be harder to find figures, and preferably ones that cover the 4 factions.
But, for now, it's awesome to have a seacon, to win a game, and have a Savage Sharkclaw mode!

Congrats, D-Max! I gave up on the Seacons a while ago, as they're way too overpriced. Maybe if I was loaded and had the cash to throw around, but as it is, I don't think they're worth the money. They do look mighty sharp, though.

Well they finally arrived today, the Optimus Prime and Ultra Magnus (both rid 2001) duo I bought from ebay for £15. Made a check list of parts they need to complete them... No idea where I'm going to source some of these parts.
Missing Primes little gun, three tyres and his missiles. Ultra Magnus is missing five tyres, his left four fingers, his front grill, his back doors and of course, his gun

Biggest issue there is I'm not on Facebook but I'll be tracking bits down when I can or seeing if there's many junkers willing to give their sparks to restore omega prime. Always wanted to do a restoration like this

Restorations can be very rewarding. I've restored a few figures in my time (although most aren't 100% complete yet), including a G1 Trypticon with a broken leg). I'm restoring an Omega Prime myself.ZeroWolf wrote:Biggest issue there is I'm not on Facebook but I'll be tracking bits down when I can or seeing if there's many junkers willing to give their sparks to restore omega prime. The things I'm missing are a few tires, Ultra Magnus' missiles, and one of Optimus' missiles. Ultra Magnus started off as his weapon and the sides+lower deck of the trailer... but I eventually found a fairly complete (excepting tires) cab on eBay. Optimus started out as the ladder section, one full Super Mode arm, and one incomplete Super Mode arm. I also found his pieces on eBay (more readily than UM in fact).

My haul over the last month.
I hadn't owned any transformers toys in quite a while, but a combination of getting toys for my son and watching Emgo on YouTube inspired me to build my Decepticon army. I really love all of them. Barricade, Apeface, and Skytread are on the way to join them soon!
