I have the Hasbro version of that Wheeljack. I have to say, it makes ER Wheeljack a decidedly back-burner figure for me. Especially since the C-joint system makes the older Wheeljack able to use the G1 toy's launchers.
It should be, I discovered that cross-compatibility by sticking C-joint weapons on my own G1 Wheeljack's bars.-Kanrabat- wrote:ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote:Congrats on the hauls!

G1 compatible? Man, that's sweet! It means the opposite is true too and we could give G1 Wheeljack the weapons of the classic one.
Noice.
I'll have to ask my friend to bring over his old naked G1 Wheeljack so that I can try it out.

ZeroWolf wrote:Well they finally arrived today, the Optimus Prime and Ultra Magnus (both rid 2001) duo I bought from ebay for £15. Made a check list of parts they need to complete them... No idea where I'm going to source some of these parts.
Missing Primes little gun, three tyres and his missiles. Ultra Magnus is missing five tyres, his left four fingers, his front grill, his back doors and of course, his gun
Restorations can be very rewarding. I've restored a few figures in my time (although most aren't 100% complete yet), including a G1 Trypticon with a broken leg). I'm restoring an Omega Prime myself.ZeroWolf wrote:Biggest issue there is I'm not on Facebook but I'll be tracking bits down when I can or seeing if there's many junkers willing to give their sparks to restore omega prime. Always wanted to do a restoration like this

The things I'm missing are a few tires, Ultra Magnus' missiles, and one of Optimus' missiles. Ultra Magnus started off as his weapon and the sides+lower deck of the trailer... but I eventually found a fairly complete (excepting tires) cab on eBay. Optimus started out as the ladder section, one full Super Mode arm, and one incomplete Super Mode arm. I also found his pieces on eBay (more readily than UM in fact).
