Got one of the most legendary named character in TF history ever, Erector! I would love to see an updated version of this guy at a larger size class one day. He goes really well with ironworks and irontread.
Does anyone have any tips or tricks to restore TFs? He is a little rusted in some spots.

Those are pins so it will be hard. But if you're really careful not to touch the plastics, sanding the rust away and then polish it to a shine with a Scotch Brite will do the trick.

Excited for Skullsmasher. Great looking gator and my first Titans Return figure (other than Trypticon).

Skullsmasher is very nice. But beware of loose hips in bot mode. Those may need the Pledge Floor Finish treatment.

I'm curious as to why Doubledealer is such a big deal and highly sought after. He doesn't have a major appearance in any media, just some stints in the old and newer comics. Does his double Powermaster gimmick make him a hot piece? Is that enough of a unique feature to make him so wanted? I never got the fascination with this guy. To me, his vehicle mode is the lone appealing mode, the other modes look half-assed. So I'm totally missing it on this figure.-Kanrabat- wrote:Bucky wrote:Huh. My love started by getting the G1 original for reasons. Having this guy in hand, there's just something special about him. Plus the fact that it's the first time since G1 that he have been PROPERLY remade since G1 as a "budget MP" make this release a big deal. Plus "traitors" characters are always popular. And finally, it's freaking NEW and FRESH. Too many leaders are the same old character that have appeared dozens of times already.
Too bad his partners are only part of a very expensive and very limited Select set...

He’s pretty interesting so far, but I haven’t had too much of a chance to really play with him yet. All the little extra removable missile pods are cool.
It’s also nice that I snagged him for $42 plus tax.

This grown-ass man went and bought himself some Botbots. I have doubles of some of these, but I really don't mind that to be honest. Out of this set I think the watch and the slurpee are my favorites.

I had to follow the family to Canadian Tire and I found something unexpected.
A trio of (Evergreen?) "scouts".

At 7$CAN each, it's not too bad considered that those are basically scout figures at the price of WFC Battlemasters. Posability is very limited. Megatron is the most nimble while bee is a brick. Speaking of Bee, his legs come detached from their balljoints in box and I was a bit confused at first at how those work. But once I finally figured out the genius behind that simple design, the fix was easy. Of course, those little guys are hollow as hell.

Bots are basic looking, Megs being the best. A quick size comparison show that they are scout sized, but they certainly don't have the mass like for TR Seaspray.

Transformation is instantaneous. The vehicles are all great despite the lack of paint. Megatron have the smallest vehicle mode. Even smaller than Bee!

Overall, I quite like these little guys. Well worth the money.

1. Some people think the humanoid and eagle robot modes are cool. Yeah, there's some Triple Changer Syndrome going on, but it's still interesting. It's kinda a more extreme version of Punch/Counterpunch, having the different robot modes be very different. With the original toy, the double Powermaster gimmick is appealing. The Earthrise version loses that gimmick (as a functional one), but brings better articulation and somewhat enhanced sculpting to the table (and also isn't just a Blitzwing redeco like the last Generations version).Rodimus Prime wrote:I'm curious as to why Doubledealer is such a big deal and highly sought after. 2. Doubledealer may have been a minor character, but Doubleclouder was not; Clouder/Doubleclouder played a significant role in Masterforce. And since Masterforce screwed up and colored Doubleclouder like Doubledealer, DD is good for further filling out the neo-Masterforce cast.
Congrats on getting him, Bucky!
Seconded on tightening Skullcruncher's hips. You might have to tighten his fists, too.-Kanrabat- wrote:Starseeker wrote:With the arrival of Caliburst, he completes my Decepticon battle masters from Siege!

Picked up a bunch this week, 2 ebay hauls and a friend delivered some more toys before his storage locker is emptied.
Got a Battle ops Bumblebee with Dark of the Moon leader Bee's weapon pack when i was expecting a full DotM package, so now I gotta go get a plain DotM leader to pair up with the package. Not sure if this is a win or not yet. This was one of the ebay hauls.
From my friend, I got a lot stuff. I got the RotF Leader Starscream, which is absolutely excellent, as well as RotF Jolt, movie 1 Evac, and Chevy Aveo Swerve movie wise. Swerve is such a cool robot, very solid. and Evac is a little nostalgia trip for me, I saw him in a store when I was 13, passed on him despite my mom asking if I wanted him, and he's been on the fringes of my mind since. And I finally got him after all this time. And he is really quite cool
Also got the Alternity Optimus Prime, Megatron, and Bumblebee. So i now have all 4 Alternity molds in some form, and in Megatron's case, 2 forms.
Got the Energon SWAT Checkpoint and Prowl, pretty nice matching set.
Shattered Glass Sideswipe, a big check finally marked. He is going with Classics Cliffjumper!
Galaxy Force Soundwave is a nice addition.
Also got RTS Perceptor for the Cyberverse shelf to complete the Resistance.
The Hybrid Galaxy Force Prime snuck in there, it's a cool little package.
And finally, I got the Takara release of Energon Ultra Magnus, complete with the final minicon weapon team I needed!
As a bonus, I'll show off my new S.H.Figuarts Iron Man figure I got, it's rad

Congratulations! You've got some nice stuff in there! Cybertron Soundwave and HFTD Starscream are among the best in it IMO. And it's super-cool that you finally got a long-time want in the form of Evac.

Starscream is certainly the stand out of this bunch so far for me.
I would need to aquire stuff to wrap and mold the head in. Though I'm not sure how comfortable with it I'd be since he has electronics and a movie mouth in the head

If you pull it off immediately after wrapping nothing should be left behind, based on tests I've done taking impressions of other figures' heads. I'll do another test, with ROTF Megatron this time, just to make sure.

Wahoo! I got my first real haul in ages, with Siege Optimus, Earthrise Astrotrain, Smashdown, and Ironworks!
Optimus is, without a doubt, the best figure I have ever owned. He’s solid, extremely poseable, has an awesome transformation, and is just plain fun. He hasn't left my desk since the day I got him. To put it simply, I hold him as the standard to judge if a figure is truly great.
Astrotrain is the weak point, but I still enjoy him. The figure has a ton of personality, and simply exudes charisma. His shuttle mode is a dud, but I still enjoy the toy.
Smashdown... where do I begin? For such a little guy, he’s really fun! I see why D-Max loves him so much.
Ironworks is fun, but I’m still trying to get used to his insane transformation. The partsforming doesn't bother me so much as the way his base mode was put together. Still an enjoyable figure though.
Overall, these guys are great.

A total Prime fanatic with a Beast Wars username. I know, it doesn’t make sense to me either.

I just had a jealousy spike on seeing that guy. Never saw him or Overlord in stores, and he's a lot more rarespensive than Overlord on eBay

This morning, checking the tracking status of my June 15 Mandarake order.
"Your box is still in Tokyo!"
Well, of course.
And when I got home after work, here it is!
Well, that was relatively fast!

My main purchase was the Furyu Toonize Kagamine Rin and a Nendoroid Petit Kagamine Rin Appen.
As a tag-along, I bought for a great price the United Combat Master Prime Mode.
A.K.A the Power Core Combiner "Bruticus" in fancy colors.
I got rid of all my PCC long ago but I wanted to at least have one. As expected, the vehicles look amazing. I really love those "electric camo" colors.

As for the combined mode, I can forgive the vehicles not having a vehicle mode and auto-morph into spiddly limbs. However, main torso bot have very loose knees. He'll need the Pledge treatment.

I bought Bomshock and the Iron Armies weeks after ordering Combat Master. The difference is staggering! Plus that Bombshock have been tightened to hell and back by the previous owner.

I really love to have them both together!

Nice scores!
And yeah, gotta love how behind international tracking can be sometimes. A couple years ago, I had an order whose tracking was still saying "Shipment pending" well after it arrived.

Congrats! Very sweet finds.
I wonder if the TR versions of the clones have gone down on eBay.
