Well finally got some good news in my area by finding the twins at my local Target. Hopefully this is a sign that more of this wave are arriving soon.

I went hunting in the next town over with my friend.

At a Walmart, no Netflix as usual, but buried deep in that mess of a display was a lone SS38 Bee Optimus Prime! Despite already having one that I had to import from Japan, I took it for safekeeping just in case. There was also ER Rung but I chose Slitherfang instead.

At the flea market, I found a great condition G1 Blaster. Only the "ears" broken, as usual. 25$CAN for it wasn't too bad. And finally, some junker as custom fodder. BH Bulkhead (missing doors and gun), Gen Windblade (missing a tailfin and her sword) and BW Silverbolt (Missing right arm and missiles). Plus the bulldozer shovel from ROTF somethingorother.

All in all, a nice hunt I say.

Finally got my Shatter and Dropkick!
If you know my most recent works, you'd know I couldn't prevent myself from getting them. I was waiting to find a good offer to get them together.
I went directly for the second version (jet and car) since I didn't like the look of the first ones, that were really not accurate to their design.

Dropkick is really cool, the only downside is that, from what I see, he got no way to storage his weapon in robot mode.
I really liked how they made Shatter. She has quite a kibble, but I appreciate that at least they tried to keep the shapes of that. Maybe if she was a voyager class, they could raise the piece count, and made the kibble fold in itself more.
Only real complaint that I have on her, is that it could have been nice to have a panel to prevent the head to collapse back.

But overall, I'm really happy to finally have in my collection some of the best decepticons ever appeared in the movieverse so far.
Next week I should receive also my SS18 Bumblebee, and until Blitwing is released I have got all the main cast of the movie.

Argh.... so close.... I went to Walmart Viau. I planned to go to Langelier too but my Friend had had enough so we called it a day right there.

I'd love a Purple Mirage and a dirty Chromia. Oh well.

BM Buzzsaw is a fun little figure (as most BM Basics are), I love the spring arm/abdomen and extending stinger.

As for me, Selects Exhaust arrived Friday from Pulse, Greasepit wont be coming until the second batch in August.

Today I was out visiting my dad and stopped in at his local Target hoping to score the clones and Seekers, but no luck there. For some reason Target.com lists them as "unavailable" at that store instead of "out of stock" like at my store, not sure what that means, they did have the shelf space for both. What I did find was the Cyberverse Hot Rod with Skarticons set on clearance for $10 and Spark Armor Prowl for $8. Funny how the only two spark armor figures I have are the ones that come with the Judge which I got on clearance at my local store (but wasn't on clearance at this store).

Went back to the local Target Sunday to make use of the Deluxe sale and see if the exclusives have shown up. No exclusives (still no shelf spot for the clones...), but I did well with the Deluxes. Finally got around to picking up Cliffjumper, Ironworks, and Trailbreaker (been holding out for a deal like this), came to just over $50, but with the $10 off Circle bonus and 5% off Red Card savings (plus tax) it was more like $41 for 3 Deluxes, practically a buy 2 get 1 free deal.

Managed to secure her from a podcast member at a very good price, not much more than what I would have paid initially plus shipping. Glad I did finally get her, she's really good. I still love my T30 Arcee, but this is such a better toy, and finally an Arcee that looks like she really should, solid and warrior like with no shell car hanging uselessly off the back

I don't mind the shell car on T30 Arcee nearly as much as I mind the shell car on ER Arcee; T30 Arcee actually tries for integration. And she's more cartoon accurate in either mode than TR Arcee, and her car mode is better than the ER version as well (Arcee's car mode in the cartoon has a very Corvette-like "pinch" near the middle. The T30 toy models this properly, but on the ER figure it's barely an indent).

But I also love the Titan Master gimmick, and Arcee did actually become a Headmaster in the US cartoon, and TR Arcee has 5mm hands and ports, and making my own TR Arcee would be a royal pain without a conversion kit (which the 3P companies apparently can't be arsed to make :-x
