Because my Omega Supreme will act as a "racing track" for two micromasters cop cars VS two muscle cars, he needed a gas station. So I finally decided to get Select Greaspit. He's a 'con, but a 'bot label fix that.

I knew my local E.B Games have a few do I went there. Lo and behold, a lone SS Bee Starscream! No need for that Amazon preorder due in July!

I had a really good day today. First off this guy came in the mail from Amazon Japan.

All this time I couldn't figure out why the shipping was so expensive, but now that I have it in hand I can tell why, that is one beefy box. Not only is it heavy but it's bigger than MP-44 Convoy's box all around! Look forward to getting into it later tonight. This is my first modern Diaclone figure, now I'm eyeing those Gridman crossover figures coming later this year.

I had hoped to find something new at Walmart like Netflix Wave 3 or Kingdom wave 2 and Leader Megatron and Cyclonus, and SS86 Scourge and Grimlock but they only had two Paleotrex and a bunch of Netflix wave 2 Deluxes they unloaded last week, no SS86 at all.

But Target was good to me. Both endcaps are down (the Transformers one on the back side and the collectibles one on the front side. They had eight, EIGHT(!!!) SS86 Grimlocks on two shelves, I couldn't believe it! Grabbed one of those and also wave 2 Core class Megatron and Starscream. I had all three of these on pre-order (Grimlock at Amazon and the Cores at Target) at MSRP so I get to cancel those.

I'm glad yours is good, but it makes me even more sad for my crappy copy.
As for Cyclonus, he's my toy of the year so far.

I went shopping today and Transformers were at sale at Toys R Us. Of course, the shelves were completely empty of anything new.
At least, I managed to grab a pair of 'Cons Micromasters for my (hopefully upcoming) ER Scorponok. I'll unpack them when I'll receive him.
I also got the SS Bee Jeep Bumblebee. He feel way better in hand than the Cliffjumper retool and he's very good for his tiny size.

.......

But the real haul of the day is what may be my most expensive Transformers score from Ebay, beating G1 Scorponok by a few dollars tanks to the 120$CAN in taxes and shipping alone:

Brans new beside the seal. For the price it went for, (even 50$ less because I put it on my watch list!) I have the impression that it's the Least Wanted set. I wanted the Double Pretender Oilmaster the most and that Megatron (Prime Breakdown that they bothered painting) the most. But while I was at it, better get the whole set. Especially because I no longer have Generations T30 Rattrap and Springer.

I'll create a thread this weekend to show everything in details and to give my impressions on the individual figures.

One more haul today.
I went to my local geek store and I found a SS Sentinel Prime. Not the best price, but it's probably my last chance.

I also found a treasure. An extremely fine condition vintage Astro Magnum, A.K.A "Shackwave" for 50$CAN!

Nothing is broken appart the cannon nose that is a bit loose. Joints are perfect and even the hose is not split! All of his original labels are here as well!

My cat doesn't like him. :lol:

You can look in the "what you find on your TF Hunt" thread to see what tht thrift shop and toysrus looked like. Glad to have found those casettes. Ebay prices arent terrible, but I'm happy not to have to pay the killer shipping to canada.

Enjoying a nice Sunday going around hunting. Got a couple Deseeus army drones. Will probably get one more soon. They're pretty cool. Since I don't care about the Quints, I'm going to make these guys honorary Decepticon grunts. I envision them transporting energon in their truck mode, or being front line fodder along with all the Refraktors.
Also got the 4 X-Men #1's from '91 with the amazing art by Jim Lee. Had these as a kid when they first came out, but probably ended up in a family tag sale. Glad to have it again.

Mine too! I used to have the new issues on reserve every month at my local comic shop, which is the same one I got these at today. I was happy to see that it was so busy.

Went back again to my geek store to get a SS Sentinel Prime for my friend. I showed him the pictures and he was tempted! So while I was there, I got a Cybertron Brimstone for 20$CAN. Wrong key, but eh. He's ridiculously simple, yet fun.

Also from Ebay, Commemorative G1 Perceptor! I got him at a good price, even with shipping include. Used, but as new.

That Perceptor is over 11 years old now, yet he handle and feel as if he was made yesterday. I LOVE that thing more than I thought I would. Too bad the missile launcher is completely useless due to safety. The launcher and the missiles shall remain in box.

My shopping spree an't over. I scored another thing on Ebay tonight. Let's hope I made the right call.

Enjoying a day off today with this haul.
Commander Modesty is truly awesome, and quite worthy of his magnificence. I love that he has that additional base/launch mode. I have mostly Decepticons since those are what I love most, but have been picking up Autobots that I like. Netflix Prime and Red Swoop are great! I'll have some more Autobots coming soon.
Seawing is my first Seacon and is really awesome. Thankfully got him at his normal price since he was in stock at BBTS. It will be a process to get all 6, but will be worth the wait.
Beast Megs is a replacement for the one I gave to my son, and now I have a little squad of Army Drones.
Also got some real nice Star Wars Black Series figures!
