Transformers Toy haul thread

Good haul! And you just helped me decide on the Seacons. I've been contemplating buying them all at once for eBay prices, or getting them from Pulse at regular prices. Even though I hate having incomplete combiners.

Yeah, definitely wait it out. It will be awesome once they're complete.
I'm doing the same with the Earthrise Thundercracker/Skywarp two pack, with it pre ordered instead of giving in to the scalpers lol.

Finally got Cyberverse Deluxe Thunderhowl after maybe a little too much procrastinating. Wait paid off, got it on eBay for under $19 after tax and free shipping. Now I get to finish my Maccadam.
Also Thursday I stopped by Hobby Lobby on a whim and they're doing one of their 40% off model kits sales and was able to get the Flame Toys G1 Optimus kit for only $29 after tax compared to their original $45 sticker price. I was surprised they had so much in stock, they also had Megatron, Starscream, and Bumblebee.

Toys R Us have the Buzzworthy Bumblebee line in stock. The reissues sell for 3$can than the regular line, while the only thing worth it, the Bumblebee and Spike 2 pack, sell for a whopping 28$can plus taxes!
....
I bought it anyway.

Welp, it's been a hot minute and I have no pictures because everything is absolute chaos. BUT I picked up MPM-07 BB, Studio Series 86 Jazz, Transmetal 2 Megatron, Kingdom Barney (Megatron), Kingdom Chopperface (Dinobot), and Kingdom Birb (Airazor). My hubby also gave me MPM-09 Jazz for my B-day.
Either way, I'm gonna have to slow down for a bit because I need to save for my first protoform. Here's hoping the Pulsefest reveals on April 9th don't include some Beast Wars guys that I've been wanting.
Yay, first pregnancy while still attempting to finish a house.

You know, as a kid I never made the connection between the G1 Sideswipe toy my brother passed down to me and the characters in the Beast Wars show on TV, until Michael Bay had Sideswipe as a Corvette.

Wow, lots of stuff going on at the same time, I wish you all the best with it. It's all good stuff though since you'll eventually be in your nice house with a cute baby surrounded by TF toys. And then the fun can begin! You'll get into one steps and see how fun they can be in a little one's eyes. At 2 years old, my kid was already converting them, it's fun.
Also, regarding the April reveals, we already know everything Beast Wars coming this year in the mainline, it's here: https://www.seibertron.com/transformers ... ine/45463/

Ah, I either missed that news story or I brain farted on it. I'll still want to see how some of those figures look before I attempt to sneak them into a baby registry discount.
Age appropriate TFs will be a must, but mine are getting locked in a cabinet for awhile. I also need to start stockpiling for my soon to be month old nephew, because with the initials of J.A.Z. I've got to give him Jazz transformers when he's older.

SS86 Scourge came in today from Amazon. Haven't seen him in stores even though I've seen Hot Rod twice. Either people aren't happy with Roddy's size or people are troop building Scourge not knowing we have proper Sweeps coming.
What surprises me is that I've completed all of the released SS86 figures before I've even finished wave 1 of Kingdom! Still haven't seen Beast Megatron (seen Prime once at Walmart) or Cyclonus (seen, and bought, Primal once, at Target). Really thought it would be the other way around.

Went to my Geek Store because why not?
A tiny haul at a bargain compared to eBay.
Transformers beast wars powerpinch.
When I saw this little bigger, it reminded me how my mom HATE those things in her garden. I had to bring it home!

Adding to my collection of Autobots. I really love all 3 of these figures. I really like the look of this Magnus and got him on sale for $34.99, so went with this one over the newer Kingdom version. I prefer this version of Arcee over the Earthrise one. Love the swords and light piping for her eyes.

It is, yep! He's pretty great. At long last, an IDW Rodimus proper! Though I will also still get the Flame Toys one

That's what I'm currently trying to decide, which of those 2 to get. I can only get 1. Maybe I'll wait until you pick up the Flame Toys version and see what you have to say.D-Maximal_Primal wrote:Rodimus Prime wrote:Good haul! Is that last one Calidus?

But yes, Calidus is 1 sharp bot. He only thing I don't like are the toes. He should have a solid foot.

Why? They look pretty sharp. If all you care about is robot mode, they're a great option. I saw Arcee at Wal-Mart and almost bought her. But I also like her bike mode, so I had to leave her. Same with Cheetor. Need that cat mode.X3ROhour wrote:I picked up RED Megatron & Soundwave today outta shear boredom.

I did finally get my SS Scourge in yesterday from Amazon. Can't wait to set up my TF:TM display this weekend. Only one missing is Galvatron.

From Amazon, SS86 (literally) Grimlock and the Botropolis set.
And from eBay, MP inferno with repros, complete, but no box. I do hope it's not a KO.

Nice! Just got my Botropolis too, and my second Seacon.
Botropolis looks good with Sky Lynx. Going to enjoy incorporating it into my city building.

Still thanks to my tax return, I got myself MP-49 Nemesis Prime!
At around 282$CAN total, including 110$ in shipping and taxes alone, it was the best price to get him.
The DHL guy delivered him at 20:05h!
Guess I'll only open him and enjoy him tomorrow.

Had some luck at Walmart. Monday morning they had nothing of note, but Wednesday they had what remained of a case of wave 3 Netflix Deluxes, one Cheetor, one Sparkless Bot, and two Deep Covers, no Quintesson Drones. I picked up one each of Cheets, Sparky, and DC, just need a Quint to complete the Deluxes.

Last Friday I went to Walmart for groceries and I saw SS Topspin on sale at 22$can. So I took him. The next day, I went to my local geek store for SS Roadbuster. Full 30$can for this one. That night, I ordered from Amazon.jp SS Leadfoot because it was the most reasonable option. Snow Miku as a tag-along. Around 100$can shipped and taxed for that pair.
Finally, SS Scourge from Amazon.ca. A bummer that he was 45$can instead of the usual 40$can but eh...
Looking forward opening them all!

Nice little haul here. Had to travel about an hour away for work and found Blurr, and the rest came from BBTS. Getting Ultra Magnus recently made me want this Prime. I like to call it Prime's "I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore" mode!

As usual, I'm late to the party, but today I went on a dino hunt and finally picked up SS86 Grimlock and Kingdom Dinobot. I won't get to open then until tomorrow, but they're here. Now I just need Netflix Cheetor and Kingdom Huffer and I'll be all caught up.
My Wal-Mart has 5 or 6 Netflix Elitas, and I've been debating getting her, because I really liked the character from the series, but i heard mixed things about the mold.
I also preordered Black Zarak and the Selects Seacons from Pulse. It'll be interesting getting the Seacons 1 or 2 at a time. I just hope Hasbro decides to re-release Overbite and Tentakil.

If you pick one up, just make sure to look at the shoulders. The pin should be recessed in the shoulder joint and not flush. If it sits flush the pins in the arms, and maybe the arms (early morning preggo brain
), are installed backwards and it reduces the articulation by about half in the shoulder, also she won't be able to "transform" as well. I somehow managed to get extremely lucky with, still the only one I've seen, mine and got the correctly oriented arms when the issue was showing up on reviews all over the place.
You know, as a kid I never made the connection between the G1 Sideswipe toy my brother passed down to me and the characters in the Beast Wars show on TV, until Michael Bay had Sideswipe as a Corvette.
