I don't think it's a long shot, just that it's not obvious in the pictures that they got (I haven't seen them, but, they could just be very basic, and could conceal anything that would hint at him being able to combine). I personally love the way Onslaught looks, and can't wait to see more of him (especially his alt-mode). This leaves 4 Deluxes and 2 Ultras that are still unkowns (Galvatron and Onslaught are Ultras, and Sunstreaker, Sideswipe, Octane, and Prowl are Deluxes).

Is ultra the same as voyager or is it a size larger?

Never beleave anything you read about even if it comes packaged in a neat reference document. Especial these days when hasbro is trying to make it harder for information to get out to the general public. They will release a picture along with the least amount of data possible and call it reference document just so people will do what we are doing now speculating about if the figure will combine with four other figures to create a new version of bruticus. Then they will make some sort of annoucment in febuarary about how they will be showing off the new universe/classics 2.0 line at this years botcon, and a lot of people will buy tickets expecting to see prototypes of the upcoming figures. But unstead all we will get is some lame presentation that doesn't show anymore than they did at last years convention and we will still be wondering if he a combiner or not up untill fall 2008 when they release the line.

Yes this means that I was right saying that we'll get Bruticus next year!

great pics Auto Bot! my big beef with them having a cliffjumper head with the cybertron bumblebee, is that on cybertron, their alt modes arnt suppossed to look anything alike!

Yeah. Cybertronian mode. Bumblebee looks pretty much like G1 Cybertronian mode with the wing thing.

I don't remember how Cliffjumper look like in the cartoon.

I also remember Hasbro saying to not get our hopes up unless we hear from an official source.

I just have a feeling that folks are going to get disapointed on this one based on what the reference document said. I'll take club info over speculation.

Will have to wait for the article from the Club mag but Pete's even double checked the source material based on some questions on the boards.

Hey I would LOVE to be wrong on this one though.

See it not like someone is going to post what was said in the club magazine on here and let everyone know what heck is going on even then, things can change since they have 10 months or so before the figures are released so they can do some tweaking to figures based on what fan reaction is.

This is great . I'll be getting this and the other Classics. I'm looking forward to getting Octane, one of my favorite Decepticon Triple- Changers. I have one more thing to say. To all Transformers fans everywhere in the world , I hope you all have a Happy New Year. We are at the end of what has been a phenomenal year in the history of the Transformers, and there is a lot more to come. Till all are one.

I have to say that I think hasbro got what they wanted out of releasing that picture to the official transformers collectors' club. A ton of free publicitc for the upcoming universe/classics 2.0 line more than they would have if they had released on the official hasbro transformers website along with some information on the figure. Buy giving it to the official transformers collectors' club they make a bigger splash because only club members will get inside scoop, and non club members will chomping at the bit to find out what's going on so they just might join the club to get the info making hasbro and people who run the club a ton of money.

I did not read it anywere, I just said that we would get him.
Hasbro had announced a tank for Universe, also they had announced that we would be getting Prowl, Sunstreaker and his twin, so I said thought the tank would be brawl.

I based that upon these facts:

1.Hasbro said we would be getting a Combiner in 08
2.Kids now know Brawl and would be interested in him
3.They haven't announced a Decepticon for 08 jet but 3 Autobots, so we need Cons

And now we have Onslaught announced, so I was right!
I hope tho that I won't be proven wrong.

honestly that's what it should be about. The club getting the first scoop on directly from habro info like the release lineups.

Also would be cool to see them get access to prototype molds that may not hit retail release and see them get used at least for the club. Don't know what logistics would make that difficult to do but it's an idea.

I can honestly say I can't wait to get my next Club magazine.

I think we may have just discovered the world's first stable source of GOD and WIN.

Maldroth what about all those fans who don't belong to the club, and have other things to spend the $40 or $62 dollars a year on would it really be fair to them. It sounds like your close with guys at the club so I wonder just how objective you are about this whole thing.

Any Transformers collector, who wants access to exclusive toys, but is unwilling or unable to shell out a simple $40 a year for the club, is a collector who is going to face mountains of disappointment.

A $40 buy in for exclusives, whatever they are, is not unreasonable.

unfortunatly we dont see cliffjumpers cybertronian mode in the toon, only in WW Dark Ages!

Shortround I think you missed my point of why getting more news like that to the club first is to make joining the club seem more attractive to folks.

Clubs seem more exciting when you can list off a large amount of things you can get with your membership.

I also love the various TF fansites in addition to the club, hell it's why I lurk here on Seibertron as well, Ryan has built a fine community here.
