Transformers (Movie version)vs Armored Core Universe

The entire Autobot and Decepticon team go against an equal number of Cores, configured for optimal combat efficiancy (So I assume you'd want your slow but heavy hitters decked out in max armor, grenade launchers and bazooka arms, and maybe light footed cores with lots of boost potential and swords to support the heavier guys... But use whatever you think works.)

The cores have anything available from all AC games, including Human+ attributes.

Can a team be formed to defeat the Transformers, or is it a sweep?

Hm, I'm fairly certain the AC's have thermite rounds etc.

Also, the AC's are gigantic compared to th movie Transformers.

The Human plus enhancement grant the humans the ability to interface directly with the AC through cybernetic implants giving them minimal reaction time and perfect and direct control of the movements, thrusters, weapons and radar. An average (not configured for optimal combat efficiency) Is taller, faster and more powerful than most (if not 'any') Gestalts. There are only a handful of Transformers who could take on a Raven face to face. So considering a most TF would get trashed within seconds, the few TF who can take on a single AC would have to face hundreds (even thousands) of battle ready ACs. But that's assuming you include all the TF from cybertron. But if it's only the TFs that are seen in the movie, you have to keep in mind that this leaves only the very best Ravens in the list. No matter how, The transformers get trashed.

Hi, even if equivalant numbers of ac and TFs went head to head all the AC's would need are the lazer blades. (but a gun would help)
Plus the only TF with a blade like weapon is optimus.
He and megatron are (at least from the movie) maybe 3/4 as tall as an AC, maybe not even. And nobody can convince me otherwise.

As far as im concerned, Anything from Armered Core would annilate any Cybertronian.

but of course, I suppose the TFs could use terrorist tactics on their enemy. not that that would help all that much.

I think the Autobots would be going to cripple the human machines rather than destroy them completely, while simultaniously taking on the Decepticons, who would be blasting humans and Autobots. Given that, I think the AC's would drive them all off.

I remember playing the first Armored Core on the PS2....reaching the final level (in the big empty silo that was like 100 stories high and you fought inside it) and heading my HUD computer announce "Enemy AC...Identified as...NINE BALL"...and actually having and "Oh snap" moment.

I have to go with AC all the way on this one.

Although, to open the debate up even further...I dont remember the name of the video game they appeared in, but there was another "AC" type game and one of the main 'bots was called "Jehuty"...and that thing MELTED FACE...anyone remember what that game was called?

You're referring to Zone of the Enders.

But seriously transformers are vastly overpowered by most other Mecha from japan. But I guess they could take on a few GM or other cannon fodder from Gundam. And the decepticons might have a fair fight against Valkyries/Veritech.

Sentinal Prime had a rust cannon. He shot Ironhide with it once and and his whole body rusted. Sure, AC maybe faster, but Cybertronians has had thousands of years of war experience. And I'm just talking about even 1 person. And I think if Megatron kept his flight form from the first movie, he'd be faster than AC.

This is actually tougher to decide than I thought. I was gonna give it to AC based on size and firepower, but considering the past of Transformers and their ability to change form, it gives them a distinct advantage. Also, if we put aside the animosity between the Autobots and Decepticons, and especially Optimus and Megatron, the 2 of them alone could tear up some serious AC ****. If the Transformers (ALL the Transformers) manage to work into a cohesive fighting unit, they have a real chance. Another thing in favor of Transformers is that they're all individually unique in weaponry and personality. The ACs have differences, but they're also very similar in a lot of aspects. If the TFs figure 1 out, they pretty much have all of them figured out. And with tactical planning abilities possessed by some TFs, this could be exploited to the fullest. I can honestly say I'd have to see this fight play out to see who wins. I think the terrain in which they fight is also very important. The more I think about it, the more I have to side with Transformers, even though a LOT of things have to go their way.

The Transformers. They have the distinct advantage of shape-shifting into anything they choose. They also have highly advanced computor-based reactions, whereas the AC are simply giant mecha suits, hindered by human pilots.
