Some figures in SIEGE had more weapons than others. Mirage surprised me by coming with his full set, frankly.

Isn't a lot of the design process done digitally these days? Because they may have created a general design for both Wheeljack and Sunstreaker, and then made two different molds based on that digital design, with the necessary changes made between the two, like the different arm transformation schemes.

Sadly, I don't see the brothers' alt modes meshing well. With regret, I'll be skipping Sunstreaker. If only we'd been able to get the Cybertron treatment for the original Ark crew before moving to Earth.

I was noting all the talk about the repaint/mold into Stalker and the potential use of the name and it just made me think: I believe they had to mostly bail on the G.I.Joe Stalker name for the reason that stalkers are creepy. They used to just, you know, stalk bad guys and stuff.

Trailbreaker is G1 Autobot military clunk are its finest he looks like a box of tools on li’l legs, and it works somehow.

As Sunstreaker was the first Autobot I ever owned I’ve always been overly critical of any Sunstreaker that comes out. I try to be open but I’m sure many collectors relate to that.

No shoulder pilons. Head looks ok. But that gun is 5lbs of weaksauce in a 2lb bag what, the, hell. It’s a double barreled hairdryer. and we all want to see it on his back. Give him an optional missile hand, a pistol, the hairdryer on his back, and I’d be there.

1. I'm pretty sure the hairdryer can go on his back. Look at where it mounts in vehicle mode, and keep in mind that that same 5mm port has to end up on his back for the sake of the C.O.M.B.A.T. system.
2. He actually does have the shoulder pylons. They're just permanently molded into the shoulders this time. They're blocky, but then the original toy's weren't exactly round.
3. They seem to have been constrained to a single accessory this time, so they went with the supercharger because that's really important to Susntreaker. As far as more impressive guns go, IMO you're spoilt for choice.

Anyone know when the next big Transformers sale at Target will probably come along, roughly?

I really beefed it and missed the opportunity to take advantage of this one, particularly with my plan to get Astrotrain and a second Earthrise Optimus to use to fix my first one (errors were my fault and not really returnable-for) so I wouldn't have to pay full price for it.

Which would've been a great idea if I hadn't thought of it days after actually having seen both in store at the same time while the sale was on, and then frantically searching stores in my area after thinking up the plan only for no more Optimus to be found before the sale ended.
G2/Action Master/obscure variant-inspired redecos and retools are my lifeblood

Looks nice, but weapon for Sunstreaker is crap, just leave that booster on the back and give him a pistol that you can hide under the car. Same for Trailbreaker that gun needs a hiding place under the car or in the back.

That side by side comparison of Streaker and Sideswipe looks good to me. After all it would require another complete new mold to do an Earthrise version of Sideswipe due to how different the robot mode is from streaker. So, I'm more than happy if that slot goes to another character more deserving. Besides with the Netflix releases, it's not like they aren't going to be on the shelves at the same time.

Can anyone remember at what point hasbro did the Earthrise fan vote? Was it in the summer? I've been racking my brain to think of what form the poll will take this time and if Needlenose will be on their again

1a. They seem to have been limited to 1 accessory. So it was include the supercharger or include a gun, and the supercharger is more important. It does suck that he doesn't come with more, but at the same time... between Titan Master vehicles, Prime Master Decoy Armor, Battlemasters, Micromaster-combination weapons, and Weaponizers? We're kiiinda spoilt for choice for supplemental armaments.
1b. Weapon storage was never a thing with the base G1 designs, and there's probably no room to stow one on him.
2. Who says Trailbreaker's gun doesn't stow in the truck? Unlike Sunny, he has the room. Having it on the roof is what we call an attack mode. That's when a character sticks their weapon on (or deploys a weapon from) their normally-unarmed vehicle mode so that they can shoot:

Thanks to those of u who mentioned problem with Grapple's head pegs not fitting or breaking off into the peg holes in his feet. I sanded the pegs down on mine so that it would fit. Works like a charm now!!! FYI ... just to clarify, u want to sand down the pegs, not make the holes bigger. The holes are the right size, which u can verify by plugging in his accessories.

I like it just fine! Just haven't had the time to work on galleries for a while. All of it is on my list but not until later this year after redesign of Seibertron.com launches.

I haven't read any messages yet of people offering to help with galleries. If anyone has photo skills and can mimic the style which I use for my galleries, please reach out to me to see what we can work out.

Apparently out in Litchfield, Arizona, there was an Earthrise Prime and Soundbarrier. I say was as my bro picked up both for me and there was only one of each. He did say he also saw an Earthrise Astrotrain plus the Autobot Hot Rod Patrol and Decepticon Military Patrol. The Micromasters I've seen in a few Targets now but this is the first of Soundbarrier in the valley that I know of.
