Yeah, store it would be the most accurate wording, and this was the first pic of him having it stored on his back that I've seen. Similar to Cliffjumper in the beginning when all the pics showed him holding his back as a shield and people were upset, then people were happy when they finally showed a pic with it stored on his back.Nemesis Primal wrote:Just got my Doubledealer from the Amazon sale today, this dude is beefy. Bird mode transformation is somewhat annoying with the legs, but his other modes are solid, and like D-Max's pictures, I'm absolutely displaying him in that Final Fantasy final boss-looking fanmode version of the bot mode.aronjlove wrote:Found this pic on Twitter and it looks like you can keep Ironhide's roof on but then he has a dangle behind him. Keep it on? Did you just mean he can store it back there? You have to remove it to transform it, it transforms the same way the Siege version it's remolded from does. Ironhide's bot mode back is the underside of his alt mode.
No, i totally get what you're saying. And I wonder if you can almost replicate this if you have Siege Ratchet? That silver piece raised towards the back looks like the piece that comes with Ratchet and goes over his shoulder plus his handgun. If Ironhide's roof/shield shield has a 5mm port it might work.ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote:IMO in Ironhide's case it looks better as a shield, on account of A. actually being a long flat-ish surface rather than a lump of car aft and B. getting in the way when on his back because of being so long.
Of course, it would look better still as this:
But alas.
I know a lot of people don't care, but for me it's enough of a let-down that it's rekindled my desire for freaking Timelines Ironhide...![]()

Forgot to respond to this. Based on the comments I've seen, it's because of them perceiving either Apeface's jet mode or Snapdragon's dino mode in the same negative light you perceive SIEGE Skyfire's jet mode.Rodimus Prime wrote:Besides Scorponok and the Coneheads, Snapdragon is the only other figure I need to get. I always thought that he and Apeface went together, so when I read that some collectors got one but not the other, or get one in place of the other, it kinda baffles me a bit. I know everyone has their own way of collecting, I just always thought of those 2 as a team, since they're both Horrorcons.
I'm sure you're not, but it's probably hitting people less hard because we've kiiiiiiiinda known about those hollow feet for months already thanks to Smokescreen existing.Rodimus Prime wrote:So am I the only one that's bummed by Prowl's feet? I'm guessing something screwy happened with the timing of their arrival and the stocking schedule.Rodimus Prime wrote:As for the clones, I'm stunned that they're on clearance already. I saw them only once at Target, and there was only 1 set. Of course, I bought it.
ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote:Also, as ZeroWolf points out, there apparently is a cover. It's just that the marketing and PR idiots prove for the umpteenth time that they can't be trusted with anything more complex than a One-Step.

Excuse me, sir? Do all of us Lycanthropic Americans look the same to you? For shame!
I see. I have yet to open my Siege Apeface so I don't know how bad he is in hand. I'm still getting Snapdragon, mainly to complete the pair.ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote:Yeah, can we please get the Unicron Trilogy photo crew back? I never noticed on Smokey. I guess I didn't pay enough attention, or was thrown by the completely bland back side of the car, which ironically turn into the feet.I'm sure you're not, but it's probably hitting people less hard because we've kiiiiiiiinda known about those hollow feet for months already thanks to Smokescreen existing.Rodimus Prime wrote:So am I the only one that's bummed by Prowl's feet? Excuse me, sir? Do all of us Lycanthropic Americans look the same to you? For shame!Your names both have wolf in them, you're both news staff so you both have bolded blue names, and my brain is a little cooked from the weather.

Feh, that roof tailcoat is nowhere near as good as this:Burn wrote:Cool. Tail coats are coming back into fashion! Thanks Ironhide!

Now, if both of them look like **** then of course they will not be staying.

And in return, I would like to point out that even Lycanthropes can be american centric. Zerowolf resides in the UK, and no, he is not an american werewolf in london.
