So I was messing around with my Battle Masters since I got Fangtron with my Spoiler Box yesterday, and Soundbarriers right leg broke clean off :( . Fortunately he is easy to replace at the moment, but I'm am very concerned now for when I eventually get Shieldron.
I enjoy asking questions, and always have. Please take no personal offense when I do. It's not about justification, is about acquiring knowledge.

I am very much interested in Four of the Botcon 2016 Customization Class toys (Medix, Shattered Glass Ratchet, G2 Ratchet, and Marvel Comic Ratchet), willing to pay fair price, PM if interested in selling.

Also interested in The 2002/03 Takara Micromaster releases (Sixliner,Sixwing,Sixtrain) willing to pay fair price, PM if interested in selling.

That is a very common problem with Soundbarrier, all because of the translucent plastic of his body; the only opaque pieces are his arms and legs. It's so common, it made it into the Selects Manga
The resident Rewind... well, half of one

- Jelze Bunnycat =:3

Looking for:
- TR Furos (Hardhead's head) and Crashbash (lost him :()
- PotP Punch head
- TR Galvatron right arm (the gun one)
- CW Stunticon limbs (Drag Strip, Dead End, Breakdown, Brake-Neck, Offroad or TFCC Grabuge) + Blackjack
- TR Twinferno & Grotusque
- Greenlight, Lancer and PotP Elita-1 (plus repro Victorion hands and feet?)

...So his torso is actually painted clear plastic? Augh! HasTak really ought to know by now that making ball joints out of clear plastic is a no-no. :BANG_HEAD:

I'm tempted to write in suggesting they recall him. That is fundamentally unsound.
WANT:
Cybertron Galvatron, with both backpack halves and the claw weapon, at a price not to exceed $42 total

We can only hope Sheeldron will be all opaque... or doesn't do anything at Mach speed.

While Fangtron isn't clear plastic, the early reviews I've seen of Shieldron and Enerax both appear to be clear yellow. Enerax shouldn't be too bad,but now Im definitely going to be extra careful with Shieldron.

I was trying to give Sunstreaker a weapon, and this was as close as I got to success. Didn't work out. So Sunstreaker stands with no weapon, just a model

I think a resin clone of Hoist's weapon, painted silver, would work nicely for him.

The problem with that though would be the lack of alt-mode storage if you care about that type of thing. Earthrise has been stingy with the 5mm ports compared to Siege and Sunstreaker only has the one on top for the turbo(?) and two weirdly placed ones behind that, which are the side ports from the forearms.

That's why i liked the micromasters as partners, they wouldn't need storage in alt mode. But it didn't work out, so no need to worry.

For what its worth, I like using the green missile tank guy buy himself as a weapon, it works really well

Well the deluxes that came into one of my local Targets was wave 2,not wave 3 as I predicted, but they still sold out within a couple days. Also very strange was an Astotrain in Siege packaging, along with ER ones. I had never seen one in person before. I wonder if it got mixed in a case accidentally...??

I don't know if you're into weapon swapping, but if you get Netflix Optimus maybe you can give SS his battlemasters. The yellows would match pretty well I think, and when Streaker is in vehicle mode, they can go back to Prime.

These 2 looks good together. Particularly when you load 'em up with extra firepowers.

Review of Galactic Odyssey Autobot Clone 2 Pack Shows Few Differences with Previous Release

Postby william-james88 » Sun Nov 15, 2020 11:30 pm

Motto: "'till All Are One"
Several now have the Transformers War for Cybertron Earthrise Galactic Odyssey Autobot Clone 2 pack and Thunderton made a review for us. In it, he compared to the Titans Return release of one of the clones where we see that there is almost no difference aside from slight changes to material used since this toy is made this year rather than two years ago. Deco wise, this is attempting to be a release for those who did not get the previous release. This is rather different from the Decepticon clones since the ones Hasbro released this year did have differences in the deco compared to their previous release.

Probably someone returned it when they realized it wasn't worth anything.

Just got the EarthRise Thundercracker and Skywarp set and man am I impressed with the jet modes. so clean. Only thing missing there would be retractible landing gear. But that space is taken up by the noggin under the cockpit.

Blows the classics / universe mold away anyway.

Makes me want to pick up the others.Think will go for Thrust first. Then Dirge and Ramjet. A Sunstorm and Acid Rain Pack would also be kind of nice.

If there's a top figure list of 2020 for the end of the year celebrations here, this mold should be in it.

Don't ER and Siege share the same product codes? If there isn't any distinction from an inventory management perspective, there are any number of ways it could be hitting the shelves now.

Not now, and certainly not out of package, but 10 years down the road, maybe more, it will probably go up in value. I didn't purchase it, but so many wildly variant blister cards of toys on eBay sometimes sell for crazy prices if they are considered "rare" variants.

As I stated before, I had never seen an Astrotrain in Siege Packaging. If not for the ER re-release (which is plentiful now). I probably would have had to pay more than retail to get it, as it (the Siege version), sold out quickly online.

Here's the thing though: due to timing and SIEGE's tail-end distribution woes, a lot of the SIEGE Astrotrain stock ultimately got routed to discount stores. People have been reporting finding him at Ross for $17.99.

One Ross I went to had a single Siege Astrotrain, a couple of Siege Ultra Mags, and a few Siege Screamers. The leaders were all together on a shelf, and the Screamers were found in the various piles the Ross toy section inevitably turns into.

Hmm... I had not heard about them showing up at discount. Interesting, then I guess it's possible that someone is purchasing Siege Astrotrains at Ross , and returning them to Target, for full price?? Diabolical! :-?

Yeah, Ross' toy section is a mess. Luckily WFC boxes are have that "pentagonized rectangle" shape to make them easier to pick out for anyone hunting, not that I had any luck finding any Transformers stuff at Ross when I went. I also checked the neighboring Target for Earthrise Deluxes; no luck. But they did still have 2 SIEGE Hounds! And a SIEGE Megatron, but that's Voyager-class. But at least some ER Astrotrains had made it to the shelves, since they weren't as choked with SIEGE Shockwave as the other Target.

o.supreme wrote:Hmm... I had not heard about them showing up at discount. Interesting, then I guess it's possible that someone is purchasing Siege Astrotrains at Ross , and returning them to Target, for full price?? Diabolical! :-?
I doubt that, because of the whole receipts thing. My point was, that deep a discount on SIEGE Astrotrain kinda cuts into the eBay resale value. It's like what happened to TR Overlord.
WANT:
Cybertron Galvatron, with both backpack halves and the claw weapon, at a price not to exceed $42 total

It's funny how many people seem to believe that the less conservative party is going to make the country into (more of) a fascist surveillance state. Especially since the news services claiming this simultaneously claim the left will turn the country into an anarchistic hippy land with no social and moral controls.
