Spinister is looking really nice, though honestly I'd rather they'd made one of his legs into a sort of engine detail for helicopter mode and just let him have asymmetrical legs. Still, I do want him somewhat.
Apeface looks cool but I don't really care that much about Apeface as a character. Nice that he exists though.
Rung, well, it's cool that people that want a Rung can get one. I don't care about him at all but I don't begrudge his existence in the line (though I'd prefer a Nickel).
Crosshairs actually looks really cool. I don't think I'll buy him but the colours look wonderful on that mold.
The two-parter Micromaster pair look sweet. No clue who they are but I like them.
Ratbat looks cool but that Fremble mold, yikes! I get there's limits to how good you can make something at that scale but honestly I think I'll track down the United figures. I don't mind them not actually fitting inside Soundwave's chest, and they look really nice toys, especially with those tank modes.

Having just watched Everything wrong with bumblebee, the ravage in that film still looks awesome but is as close to being a Zoid as can be (Please let there be a live action Zoid film, not done by any Baynus crew).

Also Crosshairs just looks like Ironhide painted in Optimus Primes colors. Nice try Hasbro but NO!
1. Be patient, willya? They're probably still hashing out how to handle Krunk.
2. Oh yes, because the red thighs, blue-and-black arms, and unique black headsculpt sooooo look like Optimus' color layout and Ironhide's head. Also, did you miss the initial renders of Crosshairs or something?
I never mentioned the color "LAYOUT". I only mentioned the colors RED & BLUE. It looks like Ironhide is painted in OP's colors. It reminds me of that lame Cloud Roadbuster/Energon Ironhide repaint.
I don't know what you're talking about "initial renders of Crosshairs", I'm just looking at the G1 toy of Crosshairs & this Ironhide repaint doesn't work for me. I want an actual G1 update that looks like the G1 toy. Same goes for Doubledealer. I don't want lazy half-assed repaints of molds that look nothing like the original G1 toy. If Hasbro can give us molds like Apeface & Springer that look exactly like their G1 toy then I'm not settling for that horrible 30th Doubledealer or this crappy Crosshairs.
1. True, you didn't mention layout. But given the prominent presence of BLACK and the absence of white/gray (save for the silver windows), it doesn't really look like "Optimus colors". It looks like Crosshairs colors. And whether you mentioned it or not, layout does play a role in the distinction. And again, new headsculpt.
2. What do I mean by "initial renders of Crosshairs"? I mean the initial renders of Crosshairs. As in, the renders of SIEGE Crosshairs that were posted here a few weeks ago. As in, we've known about this for a while already, why did it take you this long to voice your complaints?
3a. I disagree with you about this Crosshairs "look[ing] nothing like the original G1 toy":

He's got the sloped windshield chest (the one in the display is mistransformed) with a red frame, the boxy blue arms.. The vehicle mode has less of a resemblance, true, but the tires at least look suitably big even if they don't protrude and the body shape is quasi-similar. Finding a perfect match for Crosshairs would be kinda hard, because of the fact that the rear half of his altmode is just his lower legs elevated onto his thighs without a big gap in the center.
3b. Springer does not look exactly like his original G1 toy, certain things like the paldrons are changed for cartoon accuracy.

As for the Micromaster combiner shown...I wonder if this will come in the standard packaging we've seen now, or new packaging. I mean all the micromasters have had a *combined form* up until this point, but we all know the original Micromaster combiners were a subset after the original Micromasters came out. I would think they would have saved those for the next line (which they may). This may be a similar case, such as when CW Legends Buzzsaw was released prior to TR, though it was obviously designed for the TR line.
These reveals are cool, and round out that late 4th/5th (depending on the size assortment) we were expecting. I'm still a bit concerned about Hasbro's stance to keep these lines to 12 months. maybe they are *testing* the waters to see if they can push the next line off until Spring, instead of revealing it in January.
I guess we'll know come end of year, if stores have ordered a glut of wave 4 stuff, or if the new wave 5 items are actually available at retail. Still, with all of this, I'll be more excited for any reveals of the 2020 line.

Honestly, that's the one BIG thing Hasbro has had over 3rd Party for the past decade — proportions have been hands-down much, much better. I can't see them dropping the ball on this guy... not this hard.

It's a strong possibility. I swear, sometimes it feels like Hasbro's reps would do better to ask small children to transform the toys for the displays...

Sorry, it's early...I misread your comment as "Where's our Primus?
Still...I read most of the IDW comics, and had no idea that was the case. As I'm not really a fan, and glad that chapter is closed. I agree with the person that felt Warden had no idea who this was, and just agreed to the design to placate a few fans, which is fine. My son will enjoy this merely as a battle master, on the same level as Pteraxadon or Smashdown.

Price and Exclusive Retailer Revealed for Siege Rainmakers and Micromasters Sets
Posted by william-james88 Wed Jul 17, 2019 10:32 am
Price tags for both the Siege Rainmaker set and Micromaster 10 pack were found at a target in Minnesota. Below is a description of each tag. The Target exclusivity is only for the US, of course. We do not know who will be the exclusive retailers in other countries. Target has been early on their price tags before so don,t expect these products to be there tomorrow (or next week). All we know is who is getting them and for how much. These were found by Marto6 who posted on the TFW2005 boards.
Rainmakers
Name on tag: TRA Seeker 3pck
Price: $79.99
Item number: E5002

Micromaster 10 pack
Name on tag: TRA Micro pck
Price: $39.99
Item number: E7670

I realize now you guys are talking about the 2 blue Micros that combine in alt mode.
They look fun, but how awesome would it be if they DID revive those guys? I'd be all for it!
Some fun reveals here. Lot's of great stuff coming our way!

Thanks Target. Or Hasbro. Or whoever sets the pricing.

I totally understand that sentiment. But considering the Universe Combiners were based on Operation Combination combiners, if they were ever to be realized again, I'd prefer them to scale up with the previous CW & PotP ones we already have and use the same system. The same with Landcross and Monstructor/Dinoking.... except that in ALL those examples, these were teams of six instead of 5, and they coujld only combine in one way. I guess relegating one team member to be a weapon would be fine.
