He's pretty much just Universe Acid Storm minus the camo.Skritz wrote:Ironhidensh wrote:Anyone think they will make a new Blitzwing in leader class to go with Astrotrain in one of the upcoming lines?
I wouldn't mind because I'm missing Legends Blitzwing and he's getting hard to find. Also that pine green seeker would look great as a toy if he used some shade close to/similar to Hound.

Probably got a color-shade change after 4 million years.

They call him Mr. Green Jeans.Wolfman Jake wrote: I'd think it more likely the pine green Seeker is NOT actually Acid Storm, but another bot altogether.

Hey! Here's a thing. I have always just taken for granted that they are called Seekers without actually knowing where that name (designation) came from. So, where did it come from? Tech Specs, and I just can't remember? The toon? Marvel?
It's a cool name for sure.

Normally, I would absolutely agree with you on this, especially with that Sunstorm/Nova Storm analogy... if Acid Storm hadn't been given a toy (his first toy, even) with a dark green color scheme, meaning that he officially has two official looks, one bright green and one dark green, to his name.Wolfman Jake wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Acid Storm (4 million BC colors)Sabrblade wrote:He's pretty much just Universe Acid Storm minus the camo.Skritz wrote:Also that pine green seeker would look great as a toy if he used some shade close to/similar to Hound.

Isn't the identity of that pine green Seeker in the "Welcoming Committee" still unknown? It's just pure fan speculation that it's Acid Storm, just the same as when fans assumed Sunstorm the same bot as the yellow seeker of the "Rainmakers," before Hasbro officially said that wasn't the case. Given that pattern and precedent, I'd think it more likely the pine green Seeker is NOT actually Acid Storm, but another bot altogether.

steals_your_goats wrote:Microbot wrote:Anyone have news about Skywarp a Prime-exclusive? Or Barricade? I can find them nowhere...
No one knows on Skywarp since he hasn't even officially been revealed yet (I don't think) and barricade is a mainline release for wave 4 so you shouldn't expect to see him for a few months.

But yeah, declaring the dark green Seeker to definitely be Acid Storm is unofficial, but it's the best guess we got for the time being. And, there is also this other dark green Seeker from "The Ultimate Doom, Part 3". Compared to him, the green Seeker from "MTMTE, Part 1" sure looks a whole lot more like the Universe Acid Storm toy, so that other green Seeker is definitely a different individual from Acid Storm.
