I dig it though.
He's an (online?) exclusive.
And here is the case assortment for wave 5, the final siege wave

Dunno if I'll pay the price for that Hotshot. But one thing is sure, I want Crosshair from that wave. Having the original G1 and all.

I dont remember whT I paid but I lucked into a better price. Crosshairs has been an A-Llister for my personal Canon for a while now, after I decided to craft a crew of Generations Autobots from the Movie castings. So the price was worth it for me. But I agree, if you are just looki g to fill out a dlot in the collection, totally not worth itWireless_Phantom wrote:Flashwave wrote:-Kanrabat- wrote:william-james88 wrote:-Kanrabat- wrote:About that Seige Hot Shot, will it be a mainline figure? While Cloud Roadbuster makes a decent Crosshairs (much better as far as vehicle mode goes) it's pretty damn expensive for a D-tier character like crosshairs.

Nemesis Primal wrote:...wait, now retail/Autobot Impactor doesn't even get his helmet crest painted?! Wow, it's almost like Hasbro is determined to make me buy the Amazon 3-pack instead of retail Impactor by making the retail one vastly inferior to the exclusive version. Well, it's working, I guess I have to get it now. At least that means I can use Aragon's parts to give Hot Shot his back turret/shoulder guns.

Like Ultra Magnus and Shockwave, that Astrotrain is a "voyager" with lots of accessories.

Back in 2017 when Hasbro/Takara moved their production from China to Vietnam, the QC issues were rampant and horrible. I experienced wrong pairing of guns, misassembled legs, loose hips, even missing parts and bits. Both in the Titan Return and The Last Knight lines.
But now, I think they have FINALLY got their s#it together. Some issues are merely design issues like Siege Starscream chest panel or SS Old Camaro Bumblebee's roof. So far, every single Siege or Studio Series figures I bought have been absolutely PERFECT. No loose bits, no missasembly, no weird accessories issues, no missing parts. For the whole of the Siege line, there is absolutely no stinkers either! Every single figures so far are rated from "good" to "mind-blowing".
It's been a long while since we got such a perfect line.
Unicron Magnus wrote:I'm really tempted by that Astrotrain, even though I already have the Voyager from Titans Return.
$50 kind of hurts, though, especially if the new "Leader Class" is roughly Voyager-sized.
I'm liking Spinister too, especially the colors, but I tend to get weird QC issues with helicopter bots (for example, my Generations Whirl has the "gearing" misassembled), and $20 seems really steep for a Deluxe.
Has anyone had any QC issues with this line so far?

Such things are nothing compared to missing parts or a bot with two right legs.
2017. Never again.
Most likely they wanted to have some sort of familiar decos to use for the molds' redecos, but also probably wanted to have an equal number of Autobot and Decepticon weapon pairs in the whole Siege line (seven pairs of each), and so made Cratermaker and Fireline into a new Decepticon team.Wolfman Jake wrote:Can one of the Transformers lore keepers here explain to me why Cratermaker and Fireline look exactly like Powerbomb and Gunlift from Japanese G1 (Zone), but are branded here as Decepticons instead of the Autobots they originally were?

Though, back in 1990-1991, Takara sold nearly all of the Decepticon Micromaster teams as Autobots instead, so this new Micromaster team colored like two Japanese-exclusive Autobot Micromaster decos but sold by Hasbro as Decepticons is kinda like an inverse of how Takara made almost everyone into an Autobot in Japan back in the early 90s.
