Oh, he goes with Spinister? Perfect! I've got my old Subscription Service Spinister combined into Thunder Mayhem. Siege Spinister can just inherit TFSS's Targetmasters. :D

I think both his Targetmasters are in Siege.

Yes, Shrute and Singe are both available.

Yep. Singe is sold by himself while Shrute (renamed from Hairsplitter) comes with Skywarp.

And Fracas goes with Titans Return/Legends Scourge, though his colors are wrong. Why didn't they do a gray torso with black limbs? That would have been closer to accurate, given the gang-molding of the arms and gun barrels (otherwise, the arms should be gray too and just the legs black).

The all new Terror-Daxtyl character doesn't seem to be tied to anyone in particular, so you could use him as Skywarp's defacto Targetmaster, if desired.

You mean the screw is missing, or you didn't notice it being on the inside of his foot?

As in I looked and there's no screw that I could see, just a pin.

I need to hunt down that Scourge, so my Fracas can have his larger accessory.

I'm thinking my Terror-daxtyl will also stay with Skywarp, give him a unique weapon, much like how I think Redwing will keep the Micromaster weapons I gave him

As I feared, both of the Alphastrike sets I got have the 91361 batch code that blog post mentions. I’m going to have to be a extra careful with my Slamdance. At least I think I know where to look on the bottom of the foot for possible clearance issues and make sure that’s where I put any extra force to move the transformation joint.

UPDATE:

After taking another look at the Slamdance I opened on Sunday, I noticed a big crack in the plastic of the left leg assembly, not in the ankle pivot, but in the outer part of the leg/tank armor! I don't know if that was there when I first opened the package, or if it happened somehow while transforming Slamdance back and forth once before putting him on display. Luckily, as mentioned above, I had a second set, so I opened it up and did a left leg swap. (By the way, I didn't just swap the figures whole because the paint job on the first one I opened is superior, in my opinion. The left legs were identical except for the obvious breakage in the one). The foot was still tight on the second one I opened, but I was able to coax it free and swivel it back and forth fully several times without putting stress on the ankle pivot.

Hasbro is gearing up to celebrate the Transformers 35th anniversary in style and the hype train is CHUGging down the tracks! The War for Cybertron: Siege 35th Anniversary line is nearly here for us in the west, but in parts of Asia it has already found its way to retail and the unboxing videos are hitting the web! Walmart will be the US home of the line that includes cartoon shaded Voyagers Optimus Prime and Megatron, a clean painted Bluestreak, and Soundblaster with a new double storage chest. Right now Optimus Prime and Bluestreak are sold out, but can possibly come back into stock later and will likely be available in stores. The line is expected to be released in October barring any delays. Below you'll find videos from Toys Zone D, TOYSTV, and Toysdaily.

Excited about this phenomenal set of unique repaints? Already got your pre-orders in? Got other feelings about the line? Sound off in the Energon Pub forums below and tell us what you think!

I will say that the cel-shaded paint actually looks pretty good. I might end up snagging them for a fun little display piece. Definitely liking the look of Soundblaster more and more though

Speaking of Refraktor, isn't this a bit interesting?

License: Transformers / War For Cybertron: Siege

Features:
  • Refraktor Reconnaissance Team Pack comes with Spectro, Viewfinder, and Spyglass figures. All 3 figures feature classic conversion between robot and G1-inspired Cybertronian spacecraft modes in 17 steps.
  • Combine included figures to form Refraktor camera mode. Refraktor is an evil marauder - not a working camera.
  • Special box inspired by classic camera boxes. Includes distinct instructions on how to work this non-working camera. Oh no! It’s KREMZEEK! He’s tearing through the package! The pack also includes a Kremzeek figure, a really annoying electronic pest.
  • Pack includes 8 weapon and armor accessories. Multiple C.O.M.B.A.T. weapon ports on figure and vehicle enable weapon and armor accessories to attach in custom configurations.

    Ages 8+
WARNING: CHOKING HAZARD - Small parts may be generated.
Not for children under 3 years.
Assortment is set to include:
  • 4x TRA GEN HASCON EXCLUSIVE 2 (630509825226).
Sold as cases. Packed 4 per case.

Seems that this Refraktor 3-pack was to have been one of this year's two HasCon exclusives if HasCon 2019 was actually going to happen.

Makes ya wonder what the other exclusive might have been. The Autobot dino-cassette reissues, perhaps?

2017, you mean. There was no HasCon last year. ;)

The HasCon 2017 exclusives were the Optimus Prime Power Bank, Titans Return Arcee, the Magic the Gathering Grimlock card, another round of that year's three SDCC exclusives, and the Hasbro Boutique had early releases of the first few retail waves of Titans Return, The Last Knight, Robots in Disguise Crash Combiners/Team Combiners, and Rescue Bots Flip Racer 3-pack toys.

Nope, I'm still not feeling the cel-shaded decos on the 35th Anniversary Prime and Megs figures. They just look like weird camouflage paint to me. The gritty "battle damage" paint apps look way more appealing by comparison, though what I really want is just a "clean" release of those two with some of the added paint apps in the 35th Anniversary releases, like a white pelvis, thighs, and blue codpiece for Optimus Prime and complete abdominal "button" details for Megatron.

I second this. I’ve held off on the big two for this very reason. And I’ll take a clean Soundwave, too.

I prefer the battle damage this just looks like some cleaner spilled on them. Neat attempt thought it’s cool to see them trying this stuff. I think they could refine it.

Has wave 3 (Caliburst & Smashdown) ever been spotted at Walmart? I know they were plentiful at Target. Perhaps it's more that Walmart doesn't want any more of wave 1 &2 (if they had to clearance them out), but not sure why they passed on the current wave, and we know wave 4 is coming? Maybe they'll have them return for the Holidays, and just want to devote more pegs to Cyberverse (yuck) or SS for the time being when they did their toy reset. Also some Walmarts will obviously be getting Jetfire, and some wont. If you are looking to get him in store, try to find out which location in your area is either the largest store, or clearly draws the most business. knowing this, and a couple other tips (look in the Jurassic World section) helped me ;)^
