Albeit, the only one with a gimmick is Magnus, but what if there's the possibility that the others will be released in WFC? We know they had some designs done and it might only take a bit of modification to the basic design to make them all work. I'd be 100% down with an updated not MP Star Saber. At the moment though, I doubt that was intentional

I guess you also mean Hound. But Siege Hound is a Deluxe and I don't think that his design has anything to do with what he would have looked like as a PotP Evolution Leader class.
But I'd be as well down for a Siege Star Saber. And I still want a Leader Evolution Thunderwing. Maybe they'll be moldmates.
Emerje wrote:I guess maybe they really do want to prove that the Hasbro team is Unicron Trilogy fans. I still don't know when that was ever debated after already getting the likes of Armada Megatron in CW and Armada Tidal Wave in TR. That does give more credit to the theory that the upcoming Leader Shockwave is the Armada character, though I think if that were true they would have just called him Tidal Wave since we know they have the name. Shockwave with Tidal Wave armor to fit the scale? You never know.

Oh no believe me the current team hate Beast Wars and will openly say so. Optimus Primal/Optimal Optimus is what happen when you let fans decide and Hasbro presumably reluctantly went with the winner rather than fake it and pick it themselves.

And so now they should prove itSabrblade wrote:And yet, surprisingly, news from SDCC shows John Warden claiming to be a fan of Beast Wars and talking about the show's 25th anniversary, beginning at the 13:05 mark:

As much as I don't doubt the reluctance, I do think that they don't HATE it per se. I hope think they just don't see how they can improve Beast era toys. The toys themselves still hold up barring the few examples of GPS, and chrome flaking. G1, despite the milking at this point, does still need updates in terms of articulation and such

We saw some improvements in Thrilling 30 and it's not just about that. I wouldn't mind getting some IDW inspired more robotic designs of the BW characters. And maybe some more BM updates like a new Thrust.

I'm not saying they didn't improve the Thrilling 30 releases. I was just trying my hand at playing Devil's advocate. I'd like them to do new releases as well
