I noticed a flaw on Six-Gun:
When you fold in his "toes" they tilt a bit like you can see below.

Image

This seems to be a general factory assembly error because his "toes" are interchanged. They look pretty much identical but they aren't. You just have to interchange them to their right sides and everything is fine. No more clearance issue afterwards.

Brunt!

Postby cruizerdave » Sun Apr 28, 2019 4:37 pm

I was able to get a Titan's Return Trypticon on the cheep a few weeks back at Ross (check your local Ross!).
It's a great figure, and the Fulltilt headmaster that came with it is a solid deluxe all the way around.
This all has me excited for the new Brunt figure in the Seige line. Do you think he'll have some interactivity with Trypticon? Or will he be like SixGun and not really have any good options for being integrated with Metroplex?

Aside from the 5mm ports? None of the Weaponizers do. The Legends Manga did show a mode with Cog forming an arm-mounted gun for Fortress Maximus, but that's it.
The resident Rewind... well, half of one

It's kind of too bad, but I understand why. I mean, you couldn't have pulled off a deluxe sized SixGun with Metroplex scaled blaster legs.

Yeah, I just tried switching the feet, myself, and I honestly can't see any difference in effect either way.

The effect is subtle, power to you if you can see the difference. At least that can be fixed, unlike with Prime Dreadwing and AoE Leader Grimlock.

Do the feet pieces have markings like "R" and "L"?

First me, too. I thought it's for the A-stand but then I became suspicious because it doesn't make any sense due to Six-Gun having ankle tilts anyway. I examined the feet noticing the clearance issue and that the toe parts have different widths next to the hinch. You can see that difference in the picture.

Yes, they do have. After swapping them they are on their right sides now so before they have definitely been assembled wrong.

I'll have to check mine when I get home. I wonder how many have this error? It seems like it could be random if the factory wasn't paying attention to the L and R stamps. In other words, by chance, it should be right about 50% of the time. Does that make sense?

Just checked and, sure enough, mine were swapped.

Though, I could only spot the L mark on one. The other instead looked to have a 2 instead of an R.

I'm still waiting on the Wave 2 battle masters, specifically Aimless. My Walmart just expanded its Transformers section, so I'm expecting a big shipment to arrive.

I ordered the wave 2 Battle Masters from amazon.com a week ago (to Germany). Still faster, cheaper and easier than to buy/hunt for them in here.

So for those that have Galaxy OP does the figure's legs drift apart some when in robot mode? I just saw a video review where I noticed this and it bugged me enough. I don't care for UM but did he have that same issue? Do you care...can anyone weigh in? My thanks in advance. :VEHI:

What do you mean "drift apart"? Cause my figure's got some looseness when being picked up, but the legs don't move when I set him down

For what it's worth I've noticed Siege figures have a bad habit of always having one loose (or at least, looser than the other) ankle pivot. I'm not sure if it is bad luck on my end or the fact its a very supportive joint but for some reason they all got one foot looser than the other. >:oP

Check out Peaugh's video review...even he pointed that fact out. But maybe that was his figure and it's not such a common issue. :VEHI:

Getting G1 Rad makes me really wish we could get a new Rad to go with lionizer. It also makes me think that Lionizer really needed an orange body, though I like that he is a sword now.
