I don't know why I put the ark...either way, an Autobot who turns into that ship would be ace
This reminds me of that bit in the Robots in Disguise comic where the autobots find the corpse of a Decepticon that turned into a ship and have to manually transform him to escape in it.
That was in Lost Light actually
Same difference.
I addressed this very issue two pages ago.o.supreme wrote:Anyone else have solid proof the base modes can actually connect? I'd love for it to be true

o.supreme wrote:Lastly though, and a bit concerning, Emgo's review was the only one I've seen online that addressed the "Titans Return" base compatibility issue. He claims (shows in video) the ramps are in fact NOT compatible with TR bases. If true, this will definitely not put me off getting Omega, but I wonder why Warden & Co. would make such a claim if not true? Also it will definitely change my mind about getting Astrotrain. It seems he may have some compatibility with Omega, but not with any TR bases. I'm hoping Emgo himself just didn't fully understand or was trying to hook them up incorrectly.

That's ok my first thought was... *I didn't think there was a RiD Comic (recalling BW won the vote in Dreamwaves contest between BW & RiD for a comic that never came to fruition)...then I remembered there was a short lived RiD15 comic, but didn't remember a dead giant Decepticon. That other thing, didn't even register![]()

As Sabr pointed out a few pages back, Omega is compatible with TR, and with Siege Astrotrain, but there are 2 different types of connectors and connections points. So far, it looks like Astrotrain only has this newer type of connector and will only connect to OS (and possibly future toys).
For the TR connections, those all connect directly to the track (see photo) and there are 2 connection points one on each track piece. There are 4 of the newer connection points. 2 of them are black flip out connectors on the track portions of the legs. The other 2 are on the end of the ramps, but appear to be completely useless based on where they are located inside the track. I flipped one up to show the connection end a little better in my photo.
There are only two TR connector ports on the track's outer ring, each located in the middle of the curve. The rest of the connector ports on the outside of the track are the new type.o.supreme wrote:I think the best way to describe it is, the outer parameter of the track has TR connections, whereas track-to-track, or track-to-base are the newer Siege ones. They also have a couple of these connected to the launching platform on OS. All these newer ones will also work with Astrotrain, if I am understanding what I'm seeing.

Sentinel_Primal wrote:Honestly at this point I'd just accept more Animated homages in general. Closest things we've had to Animated since it ended are that new Lugnut in Cyberverse and Thrilling 30 Blitzwing, and no one can tell me that it wasn't just Animated Blitzwing in G1 colorsThough, I will say that Animated would be hard to incorporate cohesively into current lines due to it having such a distinct style. It'd be like putting Bayverse Prime into the standard Generations line. Though, if they toned the chins down, it might work

I can agree with this. animated was so good, we need more of it!
Wolfman Jake wrote:I'm happy to report that my 91441 Starscream is, in fact, one of the later revisions with the chest and tampographs fixes! The chest piece didn't even come loose from the hinges during transformation to tetrajet mode and back to robot mode. The Decepticon symbols have the correct triangular G1 eyes instead of the quadrilateral ones from the live action move. Now, what to do with my earlier run Starscream?
