In the cartoon as well:o.supreme wrote:Overcracker wrote:Why does Nautilator always get relegated to the half-assed gun position.
The original Hasbro release of the Piranacon giftset in 1988 came only with 5 Seacons. The 6th, Nautilator, was sold separately. In contrast however, Takara's King Poseidon had all 6 Seacons in it's set, and on most promo art showing Overbite as the weapon of choice.

As has been pointed out, that would most commonly be Overbite.Omegatron. wrote:Because the Seacon that acts as the targetmaster is excluded from the gestalt mind

However, unless the opposite is true, I don't beleive they specified accurate to WHAT SERIES they were accurate to, if any series at all. My theory is that the characters in the line aren't accurate to their G1 counterparts like everyone thinks they will be, but rather scale accurate to the real life vehicles their alt modes are inspired off of. If shockwave is going to be some sort of space tank or spaceship, then he would be bigger than, say, a box-cab semi truck. The same would go for a leader Megatron, considering how unlikely we're getting a gun alternate mode for him, and get a tank instead. But that's just a theory based off of... honestly just the idea that Shockwave is a leader for this line... eh.

That still does not narrow it down enough, a pic could really help us understand what toy you are talking about.

I mean, it would suck not having him be the same format as BattleTrap, but they got rid of the Legends class, so it would have to be a deluxe. And using the weaponizer format, hey could get a decent robot mode that separates into a plane and tank with plenty of weapons for each and some type of fudged combined vehicle mode.
God, I hope not, I want him just like Battletrap, I even purchased a second Battleslash and Roadtrap in the event we do get a matching Flywheels, which I would also double up on and then swap the shirt and pants of the second set to make Battlewheels and Flytrap.
But I just don't see were that would fit in this line unless they cram 2 Legends into a deluxe price point.
