Hold on now, Leader Shockwave is totally to scale with a Voyager Megatron, and is not inconsistent with other characters and sizes.

I always take those statements with a grain of salt. One year at botcon I think 2010 or 2012 they announced 30 generations toys. THIRTY!

So my 3 *possible* interests in this line are some BIG *IF's* right now.

IF Cog and Six Gun have any degree of real integration with the Titans they are associated with (even if its a simple tab of some sort). Also if Skytread (Flywheels) is truly designed like Battletrap. These will be the determining factors as to whether I purchase these items or not.

I know Cog was fully revealed, but as to whether it has any integration with TR Fort Max, that was not mentioned at all.

They'll integrate, but it'll lukely be via 5mm peg. Metroplex was lousy with them and screw holes of the same size. there are even ports on his guns, his knee caps can flip forward to become gunnery turret seats,

A lot of people weren't happy with his character shift in IDW. He had become a mass-murdering religious zealot. Quite a difference from how he was presented in Victory.

Of course I do it regularly enough, but people will complain regardless. Look at the whole Autobot Megatron thing. All they did was change one version of Megatron amongst the vast ocean of Megs.

Which isnt technically a lie. Even if he wasnt intended from the outset for using decades old accessories. Thats the beauty of standardized pegs and why we raise such a fuss when we got figures like T30 Arcee with slot hands, even if her swords could be wedgied into a 5mm hole

If the new rumors are to be believed, this leaves us with a fun guessing game as to Wave 2. So far the only revealed items for Wave 2 are Chromia, Ironhide, and The Rescue Patrol. As far as Decepticons for Wave 2, I think we will see Soundwave and Thundercracker before the other seekers.

The question though, are we sure all the Seekers will be voyager?

Well, when it comes to Soundwave, we might not get another for quite a while, mainly due to this coming out sometime later:

Where else but SS-09 Thundercracker have they used a previous movie line's molding? I don't think "all new molds" means "no repaints or retools" of anything released in the Studio Series line.

Your right, but they were saying this in response to people being a bit ticked off that we were gettign so many repaints and retools. So I figured it meant that we wouldnt get the same circus in SS. But in truth, I find SS to be the most abhorent use of retools and remolds thus far, especially with some not really making much sense.

Even then, I don't think it's THAT bad with the Studio Series. Yeah, the KSI Sentry is the wrong color and "Orange Lockdown" makes little sense, but that's really the worst of it. Two deluxe figures out of the whole line so far. All the other repaints so far are legitimate alternate on screen looks for characters like Ratchet and Starscream. Really, the only bummer is the Bumblebee overload, but it coincides with the movie this December, so it makes sense.

Actually we do have a reason now for one of the bumblebees (ss-15 with little Charlie) it's not just a simple Redeco but comes with all extra car pieces to alter the look of the alt mode

Back to Siege though, my current thinking is that we'll see the wave 1 cons next, then in NYCC, we'll see the wave two cons and maybe find out if we're getting omega supreme or not (no pics of him, but just them saying "we're working on it")

Though I can't wait for the picture puzzles

It said Titan wars but it was like those literally a sample image for retailers internally. Did didn’t have any other designs on it except his robot and base mode and the base mode was what we got and some refused to accept his legs didn’t fold up

Everybody talking about Star Saber, and I'm here sitting waiting for a re-do of Energon Wing Saber (mostly the same deal actually).

Yes, you, I like you. I still want a Generations-style update to him where the figure isn't just a brick like the original, I love that design.

As for everything else here I'm just now reading:
-If Flywheels isn't a Duocon like Battletrap, then I will be sad and annoyed
-I don't need another Shockwave, but this Longarm idea someone posted is just as good as potential Onyx armor
-I'm hoping for more Seekers than just the main three, I'd really be down for Ramjet, Acid Storm, Sunstorm, and Hotlink (I know those four aren't a canon group, they're just who I want)
-*continues to hold out hope for IDW Carnivac, among other characters from Wreckers books (Tarantulas, Ironfist, Giant Guzzle, Predators)*

Also, they're going to have to show Impactor sooner rather than later, aren't they?

What if the leader class Shockwave had a voyager class Longarm who turned into a cybertronian crane, and when you add armor in robot mode, he becomes Shocwave, when you add armor in alt mode, he becomes a tank.

But they also said all robot modes would be in scale with eachother and yet we have Leader Shockwave, so both statements dont go together well.
Plus they also once said that Studio Series would all be new molds aside from the exclusive thundercracker. And we know how that turned out, so who knows.

Technically, they are all new molds based on previous toys in some cases. There may be repaints, but they are repaints of the new SS molds, so they didn't really lie. I think that was misinterpreted.

I don't mind which way flywheels goes, so long as he scales with Battletrap, I'll be happy to finally have my Duobots.
