You will get it, Walgreens exclusive are ridiculously easy to come by, even if you dont have a walgreens around. You just have to wait for them to be released, same with any other toy.

Some countries have gun laws that are really strict, to the point of one having to own a license or having entire shipments confiscated. Plus, shootings in Europe (like in my home country of the Netherlands, look up Delft news!) are on the rise.

Well they're not gonna sell so well when the other half of their duo are near impossible to find anymore.

And now that I think about it, schools are also a big factor. Schools these days have a zero tolerance gun policy. There are several news stories of kids being sent home or even expelled for just drawing a picture of a gun. A kid brings Shockwave to school and they're gone.

Why would you need an excuse to buy one (two?) of the best figures in PotP?

Isn't that the truth. You can get a rifle for around $120, good luck getting an official MP Megatron for that!JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:Skytread (btw finally an excuse to get PotP Battletrap!)

Their difference in design however makes the idea of them being a pair pointless IMHO. PotP Battletrap is two completely individual robots that both have a vehicle mode, and a combining mode. Skytread is just 2 vehicles that combine into a singular robot mode, similiar to the original. The design change basically negates the similarities these two share.
The situation was very similar with the Monsterbot trio at first. Repugnus only being a TM made me have no desire to get the dissimilar deluxe (Doublecross) Twinferno.
When Grotusque came out as an exclusive, I purchased it merely for it's exclusivity, not because I was trying to complete a monsterbot trio. It was not until just a couple months ago that a proper deluxe Repugnus was released that made the trio complete.
The individual Skytread toy may be neat on its own merit, but I guess I can only hope that at some point Hasbro will release a different Skytread that fits the design aesthetic of PotP Battletrap.
I mean TR gave us deluxes for both Topspin & Twintwist (though the latter was a pain to get) Andgave us legends Runabout & Runamuck (I know one was an exclusive, but I managed to get them both).Pairings like this shouldn't have different engineering, but I guess that's just my opinion.

The NYCC 2018 Galleries have been sorted with each line having its own gallery, stock photos and show room are split as well. The only thing missing is Shockwave's standalone vehicle mode.

I just saw one where it showed all the modes for Shockwave. They really don't look to be hiding the gun mode![]()
