At this rate, he may just be the best one, so I would definitely recommend him ;)

Hell, he would have been my first had I not found Trypticon for 50$ at Ross

Is anyone else worried about the longevity of Omega's claw hand due to the translucent orange plastic? Cause I'm slightly concerned that he may end up like Trypticon's hip ratchets

Given its relatively big plastic chunks (compared to a Power Core Combiner mini-con) and them not bearing quite as much weight as Trypticon hips I believe they should fare better.

Exactly my point. Even if they were hollow inside, they would still be pretty durable.

We've had no reports of trypticons' hips giving out over time - only those from the first couple of runs that were pretty much broken up front; beyond that, loads of TT's remolds are made out of trans plastic and none of them have broken, I think its a stronger material than we give it credit for, and besides the shuttle is practically completely hollow from the look of things, so the weight shouldn't be a problem >:oP

The common issues with 'cracked translucent plastic' occur when a plastic piece is made to bear a lot of stress. The bigger the piece and the less weight it carries the better. So it might be an issue in other modes but in robot mode those finger-things should be fine.

Wasn't it the opaque turquoise plastic that broke on Trypticon's hips anyway? And that was because HasTak used overly-strong springs, which is unlikely to happen with that claw because it's not expected to bear anywhere near the kind of load Trypticon's hips are. What happened with Trypticon's hips was HasTak said "Whoa, these are gonna be holding up a lot of weight! We better use really strong springs! ....Oh slag, overdid it."

Same for me. While I absolutely love him, he's just too costly to pay full price for...that and Titans tend to always end up discounted down the line anyway.

Oof, they used that same faded beige-ish shade of gray for Countdown that was used for TR Blaster and Powermaster Optimus.

I KNEW it. I knew when they said Omega Supreme was 2 feet tall, they were including the wings. Actual height is about 20 inches. Still respectable, but he ain't no 2 footer...
